1. WHAT IS THE BIGGEST CHALLENGE THEY FACED?

Being a train conductor or train driver you are responsible carrying the life of the
people or cargo, you need to assist or ensures that the passengers or the cargo are on
the safety place through the help of the other railroad workers responsible by ensuring the
train runs according to its speed, schedule and right path.
As I watched the movie, I noticed that one of the biggest challenge they faced here
is that to stop the running train on its power with no one on board and going on a danger
place causing big explosions on a particular area where tank of oil was built. The
yardmaster Connie Hooper know what’s happening and they ask the help of Conductor to
stop the train when Dewey whom responsible for that situation and Ned Oldham whom a
welder didn’t catch-up the train. Sad to say, they noticed that the train has already passed
and running on its full power served as the biggest challenges to all railroad workers.

2. WHAT IS THE MINOR CHALLENGES THE FACED?

I think one of the minor challenge here is, how they easily catch the train then
inserting someone inside on that kind of transportation. The other one is the challenge
where the railroad workers move on different path away from this running train. Blocking
all the level of crossings and making decision on which they need to lashing or breaking
the train through the help of some police or other workers served as the minor challenges
they faced here, because maybe it can cause a loss to their company or reducing the
possible effect of that situation.
Theirs a debate on ongoing operations between Connie and Oscar Alvin, the vice
president of the Train operations because suggest that they derail the train while passing
through some area like farmland which is unpopulated but Oscar dismisses her opinions
believing that he can save the company and settle the issue or overcome this challenges.
The other one is, when they trying to resolve the challenge through the help of
Marine Ryan Scott to control the cab of train 777 by the use of helicopter and jumping on
the train, with the help also of Stewart, a train engineer whom attempts to divert the train
to a siding. Sad to say they will not resolve the issue but it cause the death of Scott.
3. HOW DID THE KEY CHARACTER RESOLVE THE CHALLENGES/ISSUES?

With the help of the Frank Barnes, Will Colson whom a new hire and Ned they
resolve the issue resulting them to serve as a hero on the movie. Through the process or
step of catching up, hooking up and turn breaks the train it can result of stopping the
runaway 777 Train. They are not easily resolve the situation, as Frank and Will catch up
the train, it resulting on slowing the speed of the train making them to locked the pin on to
trains causing an injury to Will. As the train moving slowly, Frank have an idea on going
on the front of train to stop it but there’s an obstacle to go on that, good thing Ned arrives
in his truck with a police escorts help Will to jump on his truck and go on front. There was
an exciting moment when Connie see on the train map that the train was on the path or
place where it is very dangerous. Good to say, Ned drives his truck going to the front of
the train then suddenly Will jump on to the locomotive and then engages the breaks
resulting to the stop the train and resolving the issue.
4. WHAT WOULD HAVE BEEN THE CONSEQUENCES IF THE CHALLENGES WERE
NOT SOLVED?

I think the possible outcomes of that is it can cause huge explosion because that
train carry some toxic materials causing danger to the people locating on the place. It can
cause also death of some railroad workers when they didn’t success on what they’re
planning to do.

5. BASED ON THIS MOVIE, WHAT ARE THE 3 BIGGEST LESSON YOU LEARNED
WHEN IT COMES TO THE ISSUES IN THIS MODE OF TRANSPORTATION?

One of the biggest lesson I learned after I watched the movie is that be brave
enough to face this kind of situation and I need to be aware of what was the possible
challenges you may encounter while I am in this kind of transportation for me to be ready
and have a good strategies to avoid that situation or to overcome the challenges.
The second is, be a responsible on my tasks as a workers, obeying the rules and
regulations of the company where I am working and command to the tasks given by the
person on high position.
Last is, don’t lose hope when I come on that situation. I just need to be calm and
think the best solution to resolve this kind of situation.
