OIL AND GAS GATHERING STATIONS:

CENTRAL PRODUCTION FACILITY AND TANK FARM:

Receiving Crude from different Gathering Station, Gas Boot and Free Water Knockout tank,
Dehydration tank, desalination Tank, produced water tank, skimmer tank, and storage tank
operations, emulsion treatment by electrostatic heater treated, emulsifier’s injection
pumps, and injection rate calculations. Desalting crude through electric deserters, crude
transfer pumps, LACT (Lest Automotive Custody Transfer) – unit water injection pumps.
LACT Meter proving, shipping Pumps, Trouble Shooting as per cause and effect Logics,
Operation of Gas Turbines for Generator, Compressors. Pumps and Fire Water Pumps. PIG
launching and Receiving, Preparation of production reports, well-test data entry. SCADA
operations. Well aware of plant safety equipments, Emergency procedures, etc. Conversant
in Handling Crude Stabilization unit, Vacuum Separator, Vacuum Compressors. Also
successfully operated Central Production Facility Capacity of 1, 50, 000 bbls/day.

CONTROL SYSTEM:

Handling of all types of control system. Pneumatic controls, SCADA systems, distribute
control system (DCS). All control valves like LCV, ILCV, FCV, TCV and motor operated valves
(MOV), remote operated valves (ROV), and gas detectors. All solenoid valve operations and
pilot operated safety valve, field’s local systems. All transmitter like level transmitter,
pressure transmitter, flow transmitter, temperature transmitter and turbo meter.

GAS COMPRESSION AND GAS PLANT OPERATIONS:

Worked in gas gathering stations, gas compression facilities, gas plant etc. handled different
types of gas compressors (Reciprocating and Centrifugal) Thomson, Dresser Borsig, Energy,
BPCL & Demag. Sweet gas purging of H2s Gas compressors, isolation and de-isolation of
compressors start-stop logics, scrubbers, auxiliary pumps heat exchangers, etc. Handled Gas
Compressor capacity up to 1 MM3/day at 80 BAR Pressure.

GAS DEHYDRATION UNIT:

Very good working and troubleshooting knowledge with Gas Dehydration Startup &
shutdown, Glycol Pump Operation – TEG inlet scrubber level maintenance-TEG conductor
handling –TEG circulation rate – TEG regeneration system operation – TIC operation –
Thyrister panel operation – Flash Drum operation – Sock filters, Charcoal filter change over
operation and normalize – Reflux condenser temperature control- Rebolier temperature
control – Dew point, PH value, Foam maintenance, Stripping gas etc.

OFF GAS INJECTION UNIT:

To inject High Pressure De-hydrated Gas to Oil Reservoir, Compressor Operation (Two Stage
Reciprocating), Scrubber Operations, Adjustable Choke, Fixed Choke Changing of the Gas
Wells.

WATER TREATMENT & INJECTION PLANT:

Operation and maintenance of water treatment and injection plant capacity 1,25,000
bbls/day. The process consists of water filtration deareation through mechanical and
chemical process. Controlling and monitoring down whole injection operating and
monitoring single loop and cascade PLC Charge pumps – Transfer Pumps etc.

PIGGING OPERATIONS & CHEMICAL INJECTION:

Oil, Gas and Water pipe line Pig Launching and Pig Receiving operation. Handling varies type
of pigs. Injection of various types of chemicals to oil, gas and water pipe lines. To prevent
corrocion.To control crude pour point. Emulsifier, OCI, OSI, GCI, WCI, WSI, O2S, Bio-cide,
and etc…Using metering pumps

Well Head Operation

 Inspection and operation of Christmas tree and flow line checkup for leaks.
 Well head x-mas tree valve integrity and SCSSV functional test.
 Changing or Adjusting of choke to regulate flow and to give back pressure to reservoir.
 Observe the annulus pressure build up & Annulus pressure bleeding operations.
 Well activation and Optimization of gas injection wells and well head panel board opera-
tion.
 Well equalization in case of SCSSV unable to open because of high shut in pressure and
operation of SSV.
 Pig launching and Pig receiving activities. Making wells ready for Acidisation, Reservoir
and Wire line jobs.
 Testing and maintaining the unmanned well head platforms.
 Shut down and normalizing the wells through Pneumatic Control Panel board namely
Baker and Auto cone.
 Methanol injection in wells flow lines to prevent Hydrates formation.
 Hand over the wells to Rig and giving ESD connection.

Well Testing:

 Production & Test manifold operations – Setting Pressure, Interface level and Level of
Test separator.
 Operation involved in changing orifice plate (Daniel junior, senior orifice meter & flange
orifice) and handled chart recorders (Pressure, Temperature & Differential Pressure)
namely FoxPro, ITT Burton.

 Operation of various equipments like Boiler, Stem Turbine, Air Compressor, Turbine,
Pump and different column inside the plant.
 Operation of five Utility Boiler having 115 Ton/ hr capacity and VU60 TYPE, Bi-Drum,
Front Wall Fire, Natural Circulation, Bottom supported furnace through DCS & PLC
system.
 Operation of the Heat recovery Stem Generation system having specification of Hori-
zontal, Duct fired, Single Drum, Natural Circulation, Top supported furnace.
 Operation of Cryogenic Nitrogen and Oxygen Plants through DCS system.
 Operation and Maintain the process data of the Centrifugal and Reciprocating Com-

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

1 Proper communication with duty relivers so as to make every field personal to have
a proper idea about the ongoing activities in the unit.
2 Have regular checks off all equipment and unit to ensure that they are functioning
correctly in accordance with standard operation procedure.
3 Checking and recording the plant Log Sheet each and every day a variety of read-
ings such as Oil and Gas Flow, Temperature and Pressure.
4 Attending regularly in routine checkups - of all Equipment and Units to ensure that
they are functioning
5 properly in accordance with standard operating procedure and conditions.
5 Starting, Checking and Stopping Pumps locally according to instructions or in case
of emergency.
6 Collecting Oil and Produced Water Samples to measure the Water Cut in oil and
Pass the samples to the laboratory for analysis as like BS&W and Ptb.
7 Changing wells into Test Separator everyday and Give the test report to CPF.
8 Reporting of Equipment and Instrument Defects, Unwanted Noises and Leaks im-
mediately to Supervisor and take possible correct action
9 Following global standard permit system.
10 Every Midnight Taking and Calculating Chemical Tanks Reading.
11 Reporting Daily Shift Activities to Supervisor – Preparing Midnight Reading of
Chemicals
12 Routine changeover of running equipments and proper housekeeping.
