DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 Make regular routine checks of all Equipment and Units to ensure that they are functioning
correctly in accordance with Standard Operating Procedure.
 Well startup and shutdown according to CCR instructions ( self flow, jet pump, ESP,
water injection ) choke bean up or bean down ( master flow, Cameron ) pressure
bleeding on B casing.

 Safe-work Permit system and issue/close permit with related certi fi cates.
 To carryout safety start up and shutdown activities as per procedures.
 Using PPE equipment in worksite.
 Check for any abnormalities and reporting to the concerned departments.
 Handover oil well for servicing, wireline job, slick line job, CTU etc.
 Coordination with well intervention team like slick line, E- line, CTU. Handover the well pad
for drilling rig.
 Handover equipment for maintenance.
 Changing over equipment according to schedule and procedures.
 Collecting and recording details of chemical consumption and stock.
 Start and flow adjustment in metering chemical injection pump such as Demulsifier, Scale
Inhibitors, H2S Scavenger, Corrosion inhibitor.
 Chemical unloading and chemical injection into down hole, Production Manifolds,
and Injection manifold (Corrosion Inhibitor, Scale Inhibitors, H2S scavenger,
demulisifier).and dosing rate change according to the PPM.

 Chemical injection pump operations both High Pressure and Low Pressure, strainer
cleaning.
 Carryout necessary house keeping work.
 Check the work permit (cold, hot& spark potential) and allow for prescribed work.
 Greasing and integrity check ‘X’ mas tree valves.
 Well testing through MPFM & also through mobile MPFM .

 Sampling of crude oil, injection water, Chemical, Monitor PH status.

 Level gauges and flow transmitter flushing.

 Instrument Air Compressor operations, Dryer isolation for maintenance , change

over of lead and lag.

 Periodically conduct pigging in crude oil and water line.( Bi-di batch, foam,
brush,MFL )

 Much knowledge on PTW, Tool box meet, JSA, SCBA, Gas testing.

 Updating the log sheet of all parameter every 2 hours, proper handover to shift
reliever.

Well Head Operations
Inspecti on and operati on of "X"mas ’tree, well testi ng through
MPFM,inspecti on of pipe line hydro test. Isolati on and hand over well for
slick line jobs, SSV & SSSV operati on, well head panel operati on, fl ow line
choke changing, well equalizing, valves leakage testi ng. Operati on &
control of wells through diff erent headers for opti mum producti on, oil
manifold, gas lift manifold, and crude transfer pumps, chemical Injecti on,
routi ne sampling of oil, gas, produced water. Isolati on & de Isolati on of
equipment & vessels for maintenance, Familiar with work permit system,
co-ordinati on with
Maintenance crew … etc.

Separator Operations:

All stations have a Test Separator and a Test manifold which is used to select and feed in
any one of the wells within the station area. A safety shutdown valve is installed in the
line between the manifold and vessel. The separator is Three-phase and is provided with
a means of accurately measuring the quantity of each phase; an inferential meter for
the Gas, and a displacement meter for each liquid. As well as oil quantities, oil qualities
are also monitored by drawing off small samples for laboratory testing. All phase have
an automatic control system. Liquid outputs are easily totaled from the meter readings
taken during the test period. Gas output totals require calculations to be made after the
test operation is completed.

Gas De-Hydration:

Operation of Dehydration (Glycol Dehydration & Using Dryers System).

Handling Of Glycol Contactor, Circulation Pumps, Flash Drum, Surge Drums Start Up Of
Reboiler Burners. Glycol Purification, Glycol Regeneration Natural gas de-hydration and
pH control checking at Glycol, Fuel gas system, pilot gas, Blanketing gas and stripping
gas operation. Dryer Regeneration Operation, Dryer Pressurizing & Depressurizing and
Maintaining Of Temperatures.

Instrument Air System:

Handling Of 2 / 3 Stage Reciprocating Air Compressors, Single and Multi

Stage Centrifugal Air Compressors. Handling Of Instrument Air Dryer And Dryer
Regeneration System, Filters, Air Regulators.

Valves & Switches:

Handling Of Pressure Control Valves (PCV), Level Control Valves (LCV),

Flow Control Valves (FCV), Blow Down Valves (BDV), Shut Down Valves (SDV) Pressure
Safety Valves (PSV), and Auto Drain Valves. Pressure Switches (PSL & PSLL), Level

Fire & Gas System:

Physical Effort And Work Environment: 100% of work time is spent outside exposed to
prevailing weather conditions. Moderate exposure to heat, noise and dirt. Checking
plant and equipment, Operating Manual valves and House keeping.
