SOUR GAS RECEPTION FACILITIES WITH CONDENSATE STABILISATION
UNIT:
Familiar with the operation of slug catcher, water and condensate separation unit,
condensate filters, Gas letdown stations, GasDistribution stations, HP seperators,start up,
operation and trouble shooting of csu,flash vessels,desalter operations, start-up of stabilizer
columns,reboilers,degasing vessels,ect.

SOUR GAS SWEETENNING UNIT(Amine Unit).

Familiar with the start-up, operation shout down and trouble shooting of Amine Unit.
Well versed with Amine contactor, regeneration, distillation column, flash vessel, plate type
heat exchangers, aerial coolers, incinerators, etc.

SOUR GAS DEHYDRATION UNIT (Teg, Meg, Dryer).

Well versed start up, operation and trouble shooting of gas dehydration units (TEG)and
Glycol regenerators. Participated in Planned shutdown of the unit. Well versed with Glycol
contactor, Coalescer filters, Carbon and particle filters, re-boiler, Flash vessels
Plunger type glycol injection pumps, heat exchangers, etc.

SULPHUR RECOVERY UNIT:

Well versed with start-up and operation of sulphur recovery units-In this unit sulphur
recovers with the help of two trains. Each train have Reactor Furnace, Claus Reactor, Sulphur
Condenser and sulphur Pit94% of Sulphur recovers from H2S gas. 6% left gases send to Tail
gas unit to process again. Capacity of the SRU unit: - 130 MT per Day. Capacity of the ARU
unit: - 912 KTA

RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Monitoring production facilities and participates in operating all production facilities to desired
output levels
Assumes responsibility for assigned area.
2. Start up, Normal operations, Normal shutdown and emergency shutdown of plant.
3. Any abnormality to be reported to shift I/C immediately for taking care of abnormal situation.
4. Regularly monitoring and logging the process events and operating parameters to keep the
process in optimum level in terms of operation and safety.
5. Co-ordination with mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation & HSE group.
6. Permit to work system
 Well known to operate other proserv products like single well head control
panel,multi well head control panel connected with DCS systems,ESD systems and
maintenance for chemical injection skids, booster pumps, servicing all type of Haskell pumps,
air regulators(Wilkerson), hydraulic regulators, all kind of needle valves(Auto clave), pressure
gauges.

FAMILIAR WITH:

Well testing activities like safe sampling in choke manifold to find the BS&W, PH, H2S, and
CO2.
To line up the three phase test separator
to light the burner by using propane cylinder and diesel pumps
about choke sizes to change fixed choke and adjustable choke bean in choke manifold.
Equipments like test separator, steam exchanger, surge tanks, diesel
pumps, air compressor, burner boom, coflixip hose, about ESD systems.
Routine jobs like observing the flame, maintaining the flow, registering the
log at constant intervals like well head pressure, well head temperature, discharge pressure
pressure, discharge temperature, observing the test separator and readings from separator.
Rig up and rig down slick line, coflexip hoses and all equipments involved in well testing.

Wire line
Well perforation, Production logging tool (PLT),Rig less well intervention logging,
Reservoir status tool (RST), Mono lock fixing, junk basket, BPV and other wire line jobs.
Rigging up BOP and rig down and rigging up for lubricator tool catcher and to maintain the
grease injection units

Panel Board Operation:

Got one month training in Siemens Process Suit Vision panel and have
knowledge in Panel board operations and can operate the panel board without assistance.
Controlling the process operation from the CCR and knowledge of operating all control
valves, SDV, Fire and Gas System (FGS), ESD, PSD, immediate actions in case of
emergency, acknowledging all alarms and take immediate corrective action as required.
Well Head:
Opening & Closing well head, well choke changing operation (GOR), Operation
of Wing valve, Master valve, Crown Valve, SSSV, SSV, (Single & Dual completion), Sub
Sea well operation manually in the Local Control Panel or from the CCR, STHP, FTHP,
Choke manifold operation, Resetting Wells, operation of Hydraulic Power Unit (HPU),
Operating Topside Umbilical Termination Unit (TUTU).

Oil Processing:
Exchangers, Crude/Crude Heat Exchangers, Crude Oil Pumps, Knock Out
Drums, Operation off SDV, BDV, PSV, Control Valves like PCV, LCV, FCV, TCV manual
operation Off HP, IP, LP, Test Separators, Produced Water Vessels, Electro Static Treated,
Crude/Heating Medium Heat FCV, TCV, manual operation off all control valves if instructed
by CRO, Adjusting the Set points off all control valves for smooth operation off plant. Also
monitoring all Levels, Temperatures, Pressures and informing the CCR if any abnormalities.

SOUR GAS COMPRESSION UNIT:

Gas Compression Units is used to compress the gas to get the designed pressure for
easy export and to Gas Injection into wells designed for that. Familiar with Two Stage Man
Turbo Screw Compressors, Three Stage Alston Turbine Driven Centrifugal Gas
Compressors, 1st, 2nd and 3rd stage gas scrubbers, 1st, 2nd, 3rd stage coolers etc.

NITREGON SYSTEM (N2):

Nitrogen is required in the plant mainly during initial start up & after shut
down for purging the system. N2 gas would also be used continuously for balancing
(Blanketing) of Cooling/Heating Medium Vessel, methanol vessel, pentane bullet & hot oil
tanks. Compressed air at suitable pressure from compressor is first cooled to ambient
temperature by a water cooler. This air is then introduced in absorber filled with carbon
molecular sieves where O², Co² and moisture are selectively absorbed. The unabsorbed gas
mainly containing N2 is sent to N2 receiver. The Nitrogen generator consists of 2 absorbers
filled with CMS, at a time one – absorber remains in absorption cycle while the other
undergoes re – generation by pressure swing principal.

SAFETY:
Attending all type of Safety Drills (Fire, Gas and PAPA alarms) and
immediately reporting to the Muster Station. Personally involved in SEARCH TEAM and
 undertake Searching operations in process areas in case of Foreign Objects Onboard,
Person Injured On Topside Process etc. A Safety Work Permit System (HOT, COLD &
Space Entry), Conducting Tool Box Talks, Wearing PPE as required, Handling Materials as
per Materials Safety Data Sheet (MSDS), Handling Chemicals as per Control of Substance
Hazardous to Health (COSHH). Operation and testing (Wet & Dry) of Deluge System (Foam
and water Deluge), Manual Activated Call Points (MAC), operating Fire Monitors, Fire
Hydrants, all type of portable Fire Extinguishers (CO2, Dry Chemical Powder, Foam),
Portable Gas detectors, UV Gas detectors, Fire Detectors, Smoke Detectors, Testing off
Fire Water Pumps etc.
