JOB DESCRIPTION

PERFORMING DAILY FIELD OPERATIONS, AND MAINTENANCE


ACTIVITIES AS LISTED BELOW AND REVIEW ALL PROCESS
SYSTEMS AND EQUIPMENTS TO ACHIEVE MAXIMUM SYSTEM
AVAILABILITY AND PRODUCTIVITY.

Crude Stabilization Unit:

• Familiar with DCS (Distributed Control System) and SCADA (Supervisory Control &
Data Acquisitions) operation
• Handling 2 & 3 phase separators
• Oil reading and Orifice changing
• Differential pressure reading
• HP, MP and LP separators handling
• Degassing vessels and skim tank handling
• Well fluid oil, gas & water level, pressure maintenance in control panel operation
• LCV and PCV operation and controller operation
• Oil sample taking BS & W checking
• Demulsified and Biocides injection
• Pump operation

Atmospheric residue and Desulfurization:


• Graded catalyst systems in multiple reactors
• process in order to achieve hydro desulfurization (HDS)
• Hydro demutualization (HDM)
• Hydro denitrogenation (HDN)
• MoO 3 /Al 2 O 3 (HDM) and Ni/MoO 3 /Al 2 O 3 (HDS) catalysts

GasDehydration unit (Tri-ethylene Glycol):


• Natural gas dehydration (8 trays)
• Colaescer filter, glycol contractor, glycol flash drum, charcoal, catridge type filter
operation
• Lean/Rich glycol heat exchanger, Glycol/gas heat exchanger and all filter changing

Glycol Regeneration:
• Exposure to still column, Glycol pumping, Tank level, Dew point maintaining
• Taking of plant shut down and startup operation
• Pre and Super heater’s for fuel gas heating and heat exchangers
• Maintain the Reboiler Temperature (1750C) Fuel gas, Stripping gas, Pilot gas & Blanket
gas supply
• 3 way valve function, log sheet for Glycol Regeneration unit and control room reading,
pH value checking, NACAP mixing

Condensate Fractionation Unit:


• Condensate Surge Drum operation
• Condensate Filter colaescer operation

Produce Water Treatment Unit:

• Operation and maintenance of produce water flash vessel, CPI separator, and IGF unit
(Induced gas floater)
• Operations of recover oil pump, monitoring and controlling oil separation from produce
water using gravity separation and adding of demulsifier
• Collecting of produce water sample before disposal to overboard and analysing of oil
content of disposal water concentration
• Inlet oil content 500ppm and outlet oil content 25ppm. Handling of produce water 54000
bls/day

Wastewater Treatment:

• Pre treatment of process wastewater streams


• Chemical dosing trouble shooting
• Reporting handled capacity of 715 m3/day
• Operation and handling of receiving sumps
• Operation of Equalization tanks, Cross flow Interceptor, Flash mixer, Air flotation unit,
Aeration tank, Clarifier pressure sand filter, Activated carbon filter, Biological sludge
sump and pumps, chemical sludge sump and pumps, sludge thickener, Centrifuges and
Chemical House
• Preparation and dosing of chemicals such as Alum, Poly Electrolyte, Phosphoric acid and
Sulphuric acid

Utilities:

• Effluent Treatment and cooling tower pre-treatment of River water filtration, filters
chlorinating, pump house and filter house activated carbon filter, back washing and
streaming
• Chemical dozing Sulphuric acid, Urea and Chloride
• Conversant in handling pressure and gravity filters, clarifiers, air flotation unit, wet
oxidation tower, Aeration tank, Chlorinator and activated carbon filter analysis of pH

Exploration & Production:

• Pressure testing of all equipments such as well control head, choke manifold, separator,
chicksonlines, wells etc
• Changing Choke on Choke manifold
• Operations of mobile separator (Vertical, Horizontal)
• Changing of orifice plate on orifice chamber
• Preparation of production data sheets and production calculations
• GOR Testing
• Well equalizing
• Measuring of STHP and FTHP
• Handling and maintenance of instruments like LCV, PCV, Valve positioner Flocometer,
ITT Barton chart etc.
• Maintenance of orifice chamber and all type of Valves
• Knowledge of down hole equipments
• Flow back and other activation works
• Making seal assembly
• Makeup Chickson line and pressure testing
• Production container segregation

Commissioning Experience:

• Carrying out of pre commissioning activities are. Leak and Pressure Test Perform
Witness, Equipment Inspection (Towers, Reactors, Etc), Flushing, Chemical,
Mechanical Cleaning Perform Witness, Temporary Screens, Strainers and Blinds
Perform Witness, Purging and Inserting Perform Witness, Drying Out Perform Witness,
Instrumentation Verification Perform Witness
• Overseeing all areas of the plant and commissioning new equipment, Meeting safety,
environmental and production targets in all fields as well as trouble shooting. Sampling
and placing of work orders.
• Gas testing, chemical handling, confined space entry and atmospheric monitoring.

• Responsible for the successful commissioning of the three phase and two phase
separator, Crude Oil storage tanks, Boilers.
• Commissioning and operation of actuators, regulators, positioners, control systems,
pipes, filters, relief valves, temperature and PH control, dual stage pressure drop designs,
instrument air to gas conversion skids.
Carried out piping and process commissioning sour process platform, perform piping leak test
activities, operation test plan. Etc
