GSU- (GAS SWEETENING UNIT)

Responsibilities:

 Field operations in GSU, PRODUCED WATER TREATMENT operation & checking


Instrument loops and PSV interlocks and also with in implementing Advanced
Process control.
 Checking & preparing a plant change scheme which includes basically pressure
survey, reviewing the instrumentation & equipment data sheets, adequacy
check of relief & piping system of existing systems and their further up gradation
as per requirement for trouble free operation.
 Preparing daily monitoring report – review DCS record and screen, Evaluate
trend and result, daily balance of raw material and product. Handling Plant
simulation process
 Process variable. In field Operation Monitor and operate the equipment for safe
and efficient operations, Troubleshoot plant operations and take corrective
actions, stripping and absorption.
 Process Upsets handling like foaming in Amine stripper/Amine absorber,
hydrogen failure, recycle gas compressor failure, feed pump failure, Power
& utility failure, degassing system failure, heater Failure, thermal
reactor/incinerator failure.
 Suggested innovative Ideas and implemented for Energy Savings, reliability,
Safety & Through put increase & its HAZOPS Studies. Done Capacity

 In commissioning :- leak test, dry out, commissioning, startup., following start up
shut down as per requirements, following rotary equipments pumps
compressors blowers function test, following all kind of permits strictly and
carefully. Ensure clean safe and efficient environment view of plant area.

Responsibilities:

 Gathering, recording and analysis of operating, maintenance and production data


necessary to develop solutions to technical and related problems.
 Gas lifts measurement and adjustment.
 Recognition of and troubleshooting of under-performing wells/equipment.
 Chemical injection, safe handling, measurement and recording. Valve checking.
 Produced water treatment and disposal.
 Ensuring the security of company assets by operating in a safe and efficient
manner.
 Maximization of oil and gas production in line with company targets and
completion of the daily production report.
