Monitoring and Control the process parameters as desired and handing
over to the incoming shift in a
systematic and orderly manner.
 Understand, follow and perform the duties with approved available

Standard operating procedures and other work permit systems.
 Operation and Monitor the performance of process equipment in
safe manner and ensure the
availability of spare equipment for immediate use if required.
 Communicate with control room / supervisors immediately in case of
any parameters abnormalities
noticed or process deviation noticed to ensure that accurate condition of
field equipment is maintained.
 Record and maintain accurate, timely log data of equipment and
closely follow their performance
 Inform Supervisor to raise work orders for correction in case of
malfunction of equipment / instrument.
 Prepare and hand over equipment in a safe manner to maintenance
staff for repair and get back in
service after checks as per PTW procedure.
 React to plant process / safety emergencies promptly and carry out
actions as laid down in the
company HSE procedures.
 Use Ram materials, chemicals and other Utilities consumables in an
optimal manner to ensure cost
saving.
 Comply with all company Health, Safety and Environment as well as
Work Permit, policies and
procedures.
 Coordinate and cooperate with maintenance departments, lab and
other service dept. for smooth
running of plant.
 Carry out planned inspection and safety tours to identify unsafe
conditions and practices, classifies
equipment form hazard point of view.
 Perform other related duties such as collection of samples, greasing,
lubricating, adjusting glands,
tightening loose connection, changing filters, etc coordinating with
relevant dept.
 Prepare daily, weekly chemicals stock / consumption reports and
inform Supervisor for requesting
stores stock items / chemicals necessary for operating the plant.
 Maintains adequate housekeeping according to Company’s HSE

Job responsibilities:
Gives on job trainings to junior/trainee operators;
Assisted other operators and technicians in operating plant equipment;
Monitor all field equipment’s and ensured their proper functioning;
Write down daily activity in log book, Handover daily activity to incoming shift;
Raise work orders for maintenance jobs;
Ensured that all wells are producing at maximum rates according to Prod Eng instructions;
Examined proper lubrication and functioning of pumps and rotary equipment’s.

Responsibilities skills:
Control and regulate flow rates, temperatures, pressures and vessel levels within
the operating plant. Identify any area of concern, troubleshoot and make necessary
adjustments to process conditions to achieve safe operation of the plant.
Participate in day-to-day maintenance planning and coordinate all activities to ensure
equipment is in optimum operating condition and that downtime is kept to a minimum.
Executes multi-interface (SIMOPS) operations with constructions, commissioning and
projects for delivery.
Monitor and audit relevant production records, registers, log books, and generates
required reports.
Coordinates with Well services team for Well handover and Safe isolation of wells for
intervention crew activities and reinstatement.
Establish the necessary planning and coordination systems to ensure that the production
availability meets the required performance targets.
Monitoring the work permit issued to maintenance group and watching the maintenance
group during planned shut down and Un-planned Shutdown.
Hands are experience in the Hazardous Chemicals such as Emulsion Breakers, Corrosion
Inhibitor, Tri Ethylene Glycol, Methanol, and Biocide.
Ensure the implementation and adherence to approved health, safety, environmental and
quality procedures.
Work permit cross checking, isolation and de-isolation, hand over, and arrangement for
suitable working like line flushing , draining , bypass opening, adjusting and closing ,
pressure holdup test , de-pressuring ,valve opening and closing, parameters monitoring,
co-operate with mechanical maintenance jobs, safety checking, etc.
