Summary of Achievements

 Senior process Operator is my job,


 I work in LNG train (QATARGAS 1).
 Assisted shut down, start up for the LNG plant.
 Assisted commissioning and start up for first LPG plant in Algeria with DCS.
 Assisted commissioning and star up for condensate recovery unit (condensate
storage).
 Excellent analytical, communication, and abilities to work in a multinational
environment with wide exposure to various cultures and customs.
 Computer literate, familiar with MS Office (Word, Excel, Power point & outlook
express.)
 Well versed with Permit to Work (PTW) system, Standard Operating Procedures
(SOP), Job Safety and Job Hazard Analysis followed in the International Project
Sites.

During this period as a senior operator my job was:

-General check in the plant


-Check the quality of the work done by the maintenance team
-Coordinate with supervisor and panel operator
-Prepare and coordinate with rover operators for any shut down for maintenance
-Daily report for Supervisor

 1997 – 2004 Rover Operator LPG plant “Sonatrach” Algeria.


During this period my job was following and checking different part of plant such as:
-Pumps suction and discharge pressure
-Vessels and column level gage and manometers (PG, TG)
-Compressor auxiliary pumps, pressure differential of oil filter.
-Check inside MARK V if is there any alarms
-Waiting call from control room for special task
-Log sheet parameters each two ours

Work and responsibility

Safety Management

 Understand, operate and comply with the Company’s Safe Work Permit and Safe
working practices.
 Ensure that all process and related equipment available for operational use
complies with the Company’s Safety policy
 Safe and efficient operation of safety devices, gas detection systems, process
control systems, Gas meters, alarm systems, communication systems, safety
systems, fire suppression systems.
 Conversant on the safe work permit system for activities in the plant and ensure
strict enforcement of rules as described in the safe work permit procedures and
protocol.
 Second or third signatory on all types of work permits being responsible for listing
all safety and Environmental precautions and monitoring progress of work.

Process

 Monitors and coordinates the designated operation from Control Panel, ensuring
safe and efficient operations.
 Monitors the process alarms, the operation of the designated area and
coordinates process activities according to instructions received and production
requirements.
 Includes continuous monitoring of instruments and equipment, making field
adjustments according to process parameters as required
 Maintains continuous radio contact with Senior and Panel Operator to keep them
informed of operating conditions to request manual adjustments of equipment, to
carry out on-site readings and convey instructions given by Shift Supervisor.
 Maintains continuous liaison with Panel Operator to coordinate the required
supplies according to production conditions, alters operating conditions or
product flows to allow prior isolation of equipment for maintenance and re-start
operations according to procedures, following completion of maintenance.
 keeps aware of ongoing maintenance work by reviewing permit to work
records/logbooks.
 Communicates with the Panel Operator of other areas to coordinate operations
that may affect the operation and/or production of any unit within the Plant.
Includes informing each other of changes and synchronizing activities to
minimize loss of production.
 Determines developing trends in operating conditions, reporting significant
changes and initiating action as required.
 Adept in controlling and monitoring of Plant Process Operations over Distributed
Control System DCS (EMERSSON, YOKOGAWA) & UCP Control Panels.
 Handling of Emergencies of different natures like power failures, utility failures,
fire accidents, Equipment break down etc.
 Execute good troubleshooting skills during plant’s upsets and shutdowns
 Operates and controls: High pressure Gas Compressors, Expanders, Pumps,
Gas turbines, Heaters and Coolers.
 Oversee and assist in start-up of the Gas processing plant after planned and
unplanned shutdowns.
 Isolation/De-Isolation of mechanical rotating machine to make them available for
maintenance work. Lock-out/ Rack-Out of plants equipment’s for preventive
maintenance.
 Prepare equipment for maintenance as per safe work agreements
 Log all relevant data relating to the production of hydrocarbons and prepares
daily reports during shutdown
 Coordinate with maintenance department for efficient and timely scheduling of
work and ensure the work is carried out safely in accordance with work permit.
 Ensures smooth hand over/take over in shift end.
 Assisted in functional operability test for all rotating equipment’s & checking
emergency shutdown systems with shutdown panel.

Emergency Response Team

 Execute company’s Emergency Response procedures and their application in an


emergency as defined in the company’s Emergency Response Manual.
 Execute proper procedure and response during Poisonous / Hazardous gas
leakage, gas alarms, gas detection, fire and emergency shutdown.
 Actively involved in the site emergency exercises with the objective of containing
situations based on the priorities of people, assets, environment and production
