Roles and Responsibilities

 PRODUCTION OPERATOR

 Monitoring equipment & maintaining process parameters within the

guidelines of the operating manuals and procedures.
 Maintained a daily log of operation maintenance and safety activities.
 Checks the Pressure, Flow, Temperature and levels in the process area
and tank farm, inform the Control Room operator/Supervisor in case any
abnormalities.
 Operated remote start up machines, verified processing parameters and
controlled plant by DCS.
 Isolate and de-isolate the equipment’s as per the PTW requirements
safely.
 Monitor operations from the field, take readings, monitor performance
of the individual equipment’s.
 Checks the condition of all safety and fire equipment in designated area.
 Handling Plant emergencies, upsets, Start Up, Shut down from the Field.
 Operating the Pumps, vessels, heat exchanger, flare, IWBH & monitor
their performance.
 Ensured that equipment and processes operate at maximum efficiency.
Export of Crude oil by pipeline and Coordinating with tanker Personnel in
a safe and efficient manner.
Professional Work Knowledge

I have hands on experience in process Operations of the following units.

 Separators:

Operation 2 Phase / 3 phase separators. Level, Pressure checking,

Flow Checking Operation of PVC, LCV, and FCV in field operation and
sampling of oil, water, gas and chemicals.

 Chemical Injection & corrosion monitoring:

 PRODUCTION OPERATOR

Handling of chemical in Demulsifier, Corrosion Inhibitor (CI), Mono

ethynol glycol (MEG), Biocide, oxygen scavenger and Drag reducing agent
(DRA).

 Pumps:
Operation of single stage/ multi stage centrifugal pumps,chemical
dosing pumps, Booster pump operated pumps and start up operation of
generators and emergency diesel engines.
 Safety Equipments:

Handling of fire hydrant, fire hose and fire nozzle, fire monitors
(Using foam, water system) dry chemical powder fire extinguisher, Co2
fire extinguishers and soda acid extinguisher, handling of gas detectors
and handling of all safety equipments.

 Pigging operation:

Operation of piping (receiving and Launching) in all gas, oil &

Water Pipelines using foam pig, intelligent pig, mechanical pig with
brush, chemical pig.
