His early years

Johnny Depp was born on June 9, 1963 in Kentucky, United States son of John
Christopher Depp and Betty Sue Palmer. He has a brother and two sisters.
He had a very difficult childhood, living in different places and receiving heavy
abuse. At the age of 15 his parents divorced.
Before working as an actor, he sold pens on the phone, then he was a mechanic.

His career in the seventh art began in 1984 when he met Nicolas Cage who
encouraged him to work as an actor.
His first job was in a horror movie called A Nightmare on Elm Street directed by
Wes Craven.
A year later he entered television in a series called Lady Blue, also co-starred in
the comedy private resort and in the short film Dummies.
by the late 80s Depp was a teenage idol.
In 1986, he work as an actor at the Oliver Stone movie that won several awards
including the best movie.

In 1990 he starred in two films, a comedy called Cry-Baby and the film Edward
Scissorhands is directed by Tim Burton.
The director had doubts about the work of Johnny Depp however it was the first
option to play the protagonist.
The criticism was very good and he received the Golden Globe Award as best
comedy actor.
In 1991 he entered to study acting and interpreted other cinematographic works. in
1994 he played Ed Wood a film of the same name directed by Tim Burton where
he won two Oscars and was a candidate for three Golden Globes. At this time, he
also starred in a film by Francis Ford Copola where he played Don Juan de Marco
winning the ALFS award as the actor of the year.
in 1999 under the direction Tim Burton starred in the comedy Fear and Loathing in
Las Vegas, in addition to the films made with Burton Depp also acted in other films
of other directors and even in 1997 he produced The Brave film that was cheered
in Cannes however it was not Extreme in the United States.
