Introduction
Audio Term

Audio Term is a great software to create your own Wavetable files. Windows Only. Download using the following
link.

Setting Folders

To start using Audio Term, first check the folders that it uses to load and store WAV files. The Wusik Engine (Wusik
Station V9 and Wusik 8008) can read the files saved as "KTERM Audio WAV" or even "KTERM Serum WAV" (mono
only). So you can add this entire Audio-Term/Data folder to your Wusik Plugin Folder's Manager. Files on those
formats don't need to include Wavetable or PW in the name. The code will see that it was created with Audio Term
and load as Wavetable files.

To add the Audio-Term/Data folder to your plugin, just use the Manage Extra Folders option from the file browser
(check the user manual on how to do that).

When you start the program it first checks a few things up, so it takes a few seconds until you see the interface
above.

Setting my own WAV folder.

If you want to set your own WAV folder, to load WAV files directly without the need of copying those to the Audio-
Term/Data folder, click on UTILITY.

Click on PATHS.

Click LINE>> one time to reach >>>>>> 01 SAMPLES.

Click SET<> to open a browser window where you can select the folder where your WAV files are stored. Click
MENU<> to go back.

There's also a page where you can change things such as color, sound device and other things. From the main
menu click UTILITY<> and if you are still in PATHS<> click on PARAM<>. Use the LINE buttons to change what you
plan on modifying and click VALUE. Click MENU<> to go back when done.
Working Your Files
KTerm

In the main interface you can see that we have multiple options. We will take a look into KTERM, just click KTERM<>
below.
Here is the main page of KTERM, where you can adjust a few things, such as Volume and Speed. To start up click
DISK<> to load your WAV file to process.
For this example I will load K-TERM.WAV, which is included with the program. You can click and hold to hear the
original sample. Click LOAD<> below to load the sample.

You can also click F_TYPE<> to select the file type you want to load (or save in the future).
When you click LOAD you will be presented with some extra options, before the file is analyzed. The first 3 options
are the start threshold so it knows where to cut the empty area of the sample. The other 3 are for the end of the
sample. Click ANALYZE when you have completed those steps.
Now we have more options to select before the file analyzing is completed. Each option is shown at the top with a
button to change it at the bottom. INPUT will play the original file and FUND is the Fundamental sound used to tune
it. RESYNTH is the final output. Click APPLY to finalize everything.

The program has several options to adjust the final result, so I won't explain each one. What you can do is
experiment with the other menus and see what each one does. Once you are ready to Save your file, click DISK<> to
proceed.

Click F_TYPE<> to change to a Wavetable .WAV type of file (if you are not already in such file type).
Select the option ->03 for a WAV file that the Wusik plugin will load. No need to put Wavetable or PW in the name
as this file type is recognized by Wusik's code as a Wavetable file created by Audio Term. Note that this type
supports Stereo samples, while some other types may not support that.

Click SAEV<> to open a new window where you can type the name of the file using your computer keyboard. Hit
Enter/Return to finish. That's it, you have created your first wavetable file.

XForm

This is another Wavetable synthesis mode.

We start up with DISK<> so we can load our WAV file.

Don't forget to click F_TYPE<> to change to WAV file input.

Select the file you want, click on it to select >>>>> and them click on LOAD<>
Just like with KTerm, you will be prompted to adjust the start and end silence areas of the sound. Click ANALYZE to
continue.
Adjust Peak Boost and Smoothness, click APPLY to finalize.

There you have it. Now you can click on DISK<> and take the same steps to save your file as you did with KTerm.
