GUIDE TO TUTORS
1. Be approachable and friendly. Take initiative in forming group chats or messages and
make the underclassmen comfortable in asking questions.

2. Be aware of your tutees' major subjects. These subjects will be the topic covered by
the tutorials for every semester. Although questions regarding advanced subjects are not
prohibited, the current major subjects should be emphasized.

3. Answering questions through group chats or text messaging are recommended

because common free time cannot always be assured. Encourage your tutees to ask
questions if there are topics that they are having difficulty in understanding.

4. Conversations not relating to academics are not prohibited. It is to your own discretion
if you wish to involve yourself in such discussions.

5. Do not compel your tutees to conduct tutorials in your desired location, if they do not
wish to do so. Tutorials outside the campus is not prohibited, but such should be agreed
upon by the tutor and all the tutees. Also, when personal tutorial sessions are conducted,
please do procure photographic documentation for recording purposes.

6. The conduct of this peer tutorial is not expected to be very formal. Although its aim is
to improve academic performance, the manner of implementation is up to the tutors
assigned.
