and neglected tropical diseases;
⁃ Non- communicable diseases (NCDs) including heart disease,
cancer, and diabetes;
⁃ Mental health and substance use including narcotics and harmful
use of alcohol;
⁃ Injuries and violence; and
⁃ Universal health coverage
1. Financially visible or self-sustaining hospitals
2. Integration of public health and curative hospital care
3. Strengthened cooperation between LGU and health sectors
