It involves, evenisactivities, comprising of lectuestutrials/laboratory work/field work, outreach activites/project worl/vocational tainingiviva voce/ seminars intemshiplassignments) presentation sestudy etc. ora combination of some ofthese. 2) Branch: Means Specializaton or discipline of B.EJ/B.Tech. Degree Programme, like Civil Enginecring, Mechanical Engineering, Textile Engineering, et 3) Semester: Refers o one of the two sessions of an academie year (vide: serial number 4), each session being of sixteer weeks duration (with working days greater than or equal 10 ninety). Semester End Examinations (SEE) to constitute the major evaluations prescribed foreach Course. CIE and SEE to carry 40 % and €0 % respectively, to enable each Course to be evaluated for 100 marks, irrespective of is Credits. 11) Continuous Internal Evaluation (CHE): Refers to evaluation of students’ achievement in the learning process. CIE shall be by the Course Tnsirictor and includes tests, homework, problem solving, group discussion, quiz, mini-ptoject and. seminar throughout the semester, with & weightage for te diferent components being fixed by the Universi, 12) Semester End Examinations (SEE): Refers 10 the examinations condocted by the University covering the etre Course Syllabus. For this purpose, Sllabi to be ‘modilarized and SEE questions to be set from each module, with choice confined t0 the concerned module only.
