 HDPE GEOCELL

Geocells are light weight, strong HDPE cellular confinement systems which are widely used in construction for erosion control,
soil stabilization on steep slopes, flat ground, channel protection and structural reinforcement for load support and earth
retention. Typical cellular confinement systems are geosythetics made with ultrasonically welded high-density polyethylene
(HDPE) strips and expanded on site to form a honeycomb like structure with the cell height of 75mm to 150mm and filled
with sand soil rock gravel or concrete

Coir erosion control blanket are wattles made from the fibrous outer husk of coconuts. Coir is denser than water so it will not
float and is very slow to decay. Coir fascines are readily available manufactured product and are popular for stream bank and
wetland restoration where a natural look is desired. Live plant can be placed in to coir fascines to create a natural look

Geo Membrane is very low permeability synthetic membrane liner or barrier used with any geotechnical engineering related
material so as to control fluid (or gas) migration in a human-made project, structure, or system. Geomembranes are made
from relatively thin continuous polymeric sheets, but they can also be made from the impregnations of geotextiles with asphalt,
elastomer or polymer sprays or as multilayered bitumen geocomposites.

Geo Grid are commonly made of polymer materials, such as polyester, polyvinyl alcohol, polyethylene or polypropylene.
Uniaxial geogrid is stretched only along longitudinal direction. Thus the stress is transferred only along that axis; even the tensile
strength is more in longitudinal direction when compared to transverse direction in uniaxial geogrids.

Biaxial geogrid is stretched along two directions (longitudinal and transverse), thus the stress is equally distributed along both
directions. Inbiaxial geogrids the longitudinal direction is called as machine direction (MD) and transverse direction is called
cross machine direction (CMD). Since the strength is equal along both axis these geogrids are mostly preferred in construction.

Geo Strips are polymeric geosynthetic strips specifically designed for the reinforcement of soil & other fills for construction of
reinforced soil or mechanically stabilized earth structures. Geostrips comprise a core of closely packed and tensioned high
tenacity polyester filament yarn tendons encased in a sheath of linear low density polyethylene.

 REINFORCED EARTH WALL

Reinforced Earth Wall (Mechanically Stabilized Earth) is constructed with artificial reinforcement. It can be used for retaining
walls & bridge abutments. RE walls stabilize unstable slopes and ratain the soil on steep slopes and under crest loads.
The wall face is often of precast, segmental blocks & panels that can tolerate some differential movement.
The walls are infilled with granular soil, with or without reinforcement, while retaining the backfill soil. Reinforced walls
utilize horizontal layers typically of geogrids/geostrips.
