ACTIVITY REPORT

1. Title of Activity: Rally based on the theme “Safe and Effective use of Medicines for all”on
the occasion of World Pharmacist Day

2. Date, venue & time: 25th September, 2019 at 10.30 am in JSPM, Hadapsar campus and
nearby area.

3. Outcome of activity: Awareness on safe use of medicines

4. Description of activity: A rally was organized on the occasion of World Pharmacist Day by
the students of B. Pharm and M. Pharm and staff of this institute on the theme “Safe and
Effective use of Medicines for all” on 25th September, 2019 at 10.30 am in JSPM, Hadapsar
campus and nearby area.

All the students actively participated in the rally and prepared the posters based on the theme
and also gave slogans during the rally on safe use of medicines. The start of the rally was
inaugurated in the presence of Director Dr. M. G. Jadhav, Principal of Degree and PG college
Dr. V. V. Potnis, Principal of Diploma college Dr. P.P. Adkar and faculty of both the college.
The rally started from the college till Shri Ram chowk, wherein the students displayed the
posters on safe use of medicines and also gave slogans of being proud to be a pharmacist as
healthcare professionals committed of taking care of health of the public in the society.
