b I usually write my plays in a café. I use a pencil and paper. I haven’t got a laptop or
anything like that. I like writing in the café because I get ideas from other people’s
conversations.
c I used to write in the library but I didn’t enjoy going there. I used to look out the window
for hours.
d When I was writing my last play, I couldn’t think of a story. So I went hiking for a week
with my dog Rory.
e On the first day, we saw a stream. Rory ran into the water and while I was watching him, I
thought of my new play: Black Ice.
f It’s about a conductor who travels the world. We had the first performance yesterday and the
audience loved it!
