QNS: co-reported and produced an audio feature about the city’s efforts to redevelop the Willets Point industrial district in
Queens for the publication’s weekly podcast. Lower East Side Patch: wrote story about a 2018 Reform Party
Congressional candidate, who got the party’s nomination without running in its primary.

Editorial Intern
Wrote about city and state political issues, including: an analysis of the progressive energy around the 2021 Manhattan
D.A. race; a piece about how ride-hail companies are doing with meeting New York City’s new wheelchair accessible
vehicle standards; and an update on the horse-carriage issue from the 2013 mayoral election. Also, did quick-turnaround
aggregated pieces for web: a rundown of New York Republicans’ reactions to Trump’s tweets about four Democratic
Congresswomen and a list of de Blasio’s political dealings with the Orthodox community. Conducted Q&A with 32BJ
SEIU union head Kyle Bragg. Edited Q&A’s with New York State Department of Financial Services Superintendent
Linda Lacewell and former New York State Chief Judge Jonathan Lippman.

Independent Capstone Project
Produced a 3-episode (roughly 20 minutes each) podcast series about fake news. Interviewed media experts and political
scientists. Wrote scripts, captured sound, edited in Adobe Audition CC, and promoted via social media.
