1.0) Introduction

GourmetBaby is established by a single mother named Mum Lucy. Firstly, she


was very active and spend many hours in the kitchen to prepare meals for her first
son named Ben. She invented a meal structure for her son to eat to promote a
healthy lifestyle and daily nutrients needed by her son. She uses fresh and 100%

original product in preparing the meals. As the time flies, she works hustle every
day and been extremely busy when she been promoted as marketing manager in
a company. Time becomes limited for her as she cannot do anything much. She
look around for alternative way of making homemade meals and she looked in
various groceries stores. She felt disappointed as the food are processed and sold
in jars and need to be heated. She does not like and felt comfortable for giving her
son to eat processed food.

Besides that, her life has changed when her daughter came in this world. Her
name is Emma. She stopped working and decide to spend more time with her
family in precious way. After discovering more recipes and methods in preparing
fresh meal for her children, she posted on her blog, and she made decision to sell
her homemade baby food throughout the community. From small start-up
business to 10 years later, GourmetBaby has grown higher and been found in
many groceries’ freezer cabinets and shelves in United Kingdom.

2.0) Definition of Reward Management

Reward management is anxious about the procedures, plan, and cycles needed to
guarantee that the worth of individuals and the commitment they make to
accomplishing authoritative, departmental and group objectives is perceived and
compensated. It is about the strategy, execution and support of remuneration

be suggested is that GourmetBaby can collaborate with another gym to save the
cost and give free access to employees which are hardworking and work in
efficient way. With this method, it can enhance the workers to develop high quality
working skills and have great balanced diet by exercising. Other than that,

breakfast or Friday drinks is not necessary to be included. This is because it does
not seem relevant for the rewards in terms of healthy lifestyle.

Besides that, base compensation might be communicated as a yearly, week by


week or hourly rate. The last option is some of the time called a period rate
arrangement of instalment. The base rate might be changed in accordance with
reflect expansions in the expense of living or market rates by the association

basis. They conduct weekly one to one meeting in which they discuss and review
on the progress growth of the company. They conduct daily basis objectives and
lives in company values to enhance more approach in developing people at
GourmetBaby.

Based on the mechanisms to support and measure performance, GourmetBaby


conduct weekly basis meetings between the managers and staff on discussion of
th progress against individual objectives. GourmetBaby does not apply individual
objectives.

Other than that, GourmetBaby offers 2 days training programme in academy to


enhance the new staff to have clear background and picture of the progression
work and contribution in the workplace as well.

GourmetBaby has a good performance system in which they are able to track their
progress in well manner.

Reward management plays an important role in the development of a company.


Reward management has a broad range of strategies, policies, and processes in

keeping the value of people and contribution of organizational achievement. On
the other hand, performance management is an important in the progress of a
company. Performance management can be defined broadly as GourmetBaby
applies the aspects.

In a nutshell, GourmetBaby has a great development nature in the company.
