Introduction

Based on Carrie Grosvenor, online social online social networking encompasses networking for business,
pleasure, and all points in between. Networks themselves have different purposes, and their online
counterparts work in various ways. Loosely speaking, a social network allows people to communicate
with friends and acquaintances both old and new.

Content

Community building:
The community building aspect of social media is also distinctly positive for many young people. By
joining ‘groups’ or ‘pages’ in the social network like facebook, young people can surround themselves
with like-minded people and share their thoughts or concerns

Self-expression:
Self-expression and self-identity are important aspects of development throughout the teen years. Social
media like twitter can act as an effective platform for positive self-expression, make their opinion about
country thus letting teens put forward their best self and can make change for the better country

Building upon relationships:

There is evidence to suggest that strong adolescent friendships can be enhanced by social media
interaction such as whatsapp, its allowing young people to create stronger bonds with people they already
know

Sleep:
a lot of studies have shown that increased social media use has a significant association with poor sleep
quality in young people. Using phones, laptops, and tablets at night before bed is also
linked with poor quality sleep.

Cyberbullying:
Bullying during childhood is a major risk factor for a number of issues including mental health, education
and social relationships, with long-lasting effects often carried right through to adulthood.
Conclusion

In my conclusion,online social network has the bad side and the good sides..then, we have to limiting our
time to use that social media and we have to use it properly to handle this negative impact to our
generation.if we not act now, who want to saved our next generation ?
