On-The-Job Training
The Industrial Engineering On-The-Job Training Program is ideally intended to enhance the skills
and knowledge essentials of the students and make an exposure to newer technologies & experience in
actual operations that can only be achieved on the field. The said program will also give a wider scope of
coverage for the students eligible and geared up before they graduate. Moreover, it is an avenue for
applying, enriching and enhancing the acquired knowledge in the school in their particular field of
endeavor. It is a way of changing the student’s outlook in life through exposure in the performance of actual
work relevant to their profession that may serve as stepping-stone for future careers. It develops
interpersonal relationship with other employees within the cooperating industry.

In line with the College of Engineering’s goal to meet the industry’s demand for technically
competent and well-rounded engineering graduate. The following are the specific objectives of the OJT
program:

1. Give the student exposure to the actual technical and managerial aspects of the various engineering
professions;
2. Enable the student to gain experience, relate and apply the theories learned in school to real industry
situation and problems;
3. Give the student an insight of the various operations, processes, techniques and controls presently
used in industry
4. Develop and instill a positive attitude, self-confidence and self-motivation required of a responsible
professional in handling task; and
5. Develop relationship between the university and the industry.

Furthermore, below are some of the skills that we expect our students to gain in the OJT program aside
from the knowledge that they get from regular classroom/laboratory. They are, but not limited to upgraded
