Chapter IX

Love
Your Testimony to Others

Mr. Jones Story to a blind crippled boy asking “ Mister, are you JESUS?.”
According to the BIBLE the single most important CHRISTian virtue, that quality
which is more valuable than anything else, the apex of action, and the jewels
which should characterize every aspect of our lives s love. 1 Corinthians 16:14,
says, “Let all that you do be done with <3.”
In 1st Corinthians 13, we are told that more important than having splendid
speech, more valuable than SCRIPTural scholarship, and more impacting than a
supreme sacrifice is love. 1 Corinthians 13:13 says, “And now abide faith, hope,
love, these three; but the greatest of these is <3.”
1. <3 is the primary mark of maturity. Clothing of all CHRISTian. Collosians
3:14 says, “But above all these things put <3, which is the bond of
perfection. “
2. <3 is the single sign that we are walking in the SPIRIT. Galatians 5:22 says,
“But the fruit of the SPIRIT IS <3, . . . “ The little “is” indicates that there is
only one fruit of the SPIRIT, not nine. If there were nine fruits, then the
verse would read? _____ The other eight words simply describe <3.
a. Joy is loves consciousness
b. Peace is loves confidence
c. Longsuffering is loves habit
d. Gentleness is loves activity
e. Goodness is loves quality
f. Faith is loves quantity

3. <3 is to be our passionate pursuit. 1 Corinthians 14:1 says “Pursue <3”. The
word “pursue” means to follow with a passion. 1 Peter 4:8 says, “And
above all things have fervent love for one another”. <3 has always been the
passionate pursuit of the child of GOD.

In Matthew 22:34-40, Jesus was asked by the religious leaders.

You shall <3 the LORD your GOD with all your heart, with all your soul, and
with all your mind…And…You shall <3 your neighbour as yourself.”

Nearly sixty years after the death of our LORD JESUS CHRIST, the aged
Apostle John asked him for a parting message. “Make <3 their aim”.
And the same way that JESUS taught us. John 13:34-35 Love one for
another is the primary mark that you are moving on to maturity.
