A feasibility study was proposed to examine using scrap tires as noise barrier walls for roads and highways. A research proposal was presented to the Faculty of Engineering, Architecture and Aviation at the University of Perpetual Help System Laguna by five civil engineering students to partially fulfill their degree requirements. The proposal aimed to determine if scrap tires could effectively be used as an alternative material for noise barrier walls.
