TREND ANALYSIS
The earnings per share ratio shows the portion of a company’s profit allocated to
each outstanding share of company’s stock. EPS of shell increased from -9.97 in
2014 to 8.51 in 2015 to 43.42 in 2016 showing an increasing trend over the period
hence showing great prospect for the investors to invest in the company but if the
later trend is observed EPS of shell started to drop down after 2016 and had a value
of 29.74 in 2017 and further dropping down to -10.3 in 2018, which clearly
indicates that investing in the company is a risk according to these values.
