The US$550 million project includes the following:
1. Construction of production units
2. Construction of warehouses

7. Description

LG Innotek Co Ltd (LGIC), a subsidiary company of LG Group, is planning to build a camera module manufacturing
plant in Haiphong, Vietnam.

The project involves the construction of a manufacturing plant with a production capacity of 360 million units per annum
on 10ha of land.

It includes the construction of production units, warehouses, a testing unit, an administrative space and related
infrastructure, and the installation of equipment and machinery.

In September 2016, LGIC received license to officially start the project.

A camera module manufacturing plant is proposed at Trang Due Industrial Park in Dinh Vu-Cat Hai Economic Zone in
Haiphong.

The project is a part of LG Group’s plan to supply price-competitive parts for its mid- and low-price smartphone models.
