3. Briefly describe the web application/website. (5 points)
The main goal of Adobe's social media platform Behance is to promote and help people find creative
work. Joining Behance allows creative people from all over the world to participate in a community that was
built with their original work and creative process in mind. The website is not the source of inspiration, but
rather its wide choice and presentation of the best creative works from all over the internet. Behance is
beneficial if you're an artist looking for a platform to showcase your work. Additionally useful to artists
searching for work since artists can use the website for free.
4. What type of user interface (UI) does the web application/website encompasses? Justify your answer.
(Essay: 10 points)
I think the type of user interface (UI) of behance is Menu Based Interface. Users can access a variety of
prompts or options through the menu-driven user interface in the form of a list or menu that is presented in
full-screen, pop-up, pull-down, or drop-down modes. Imagine Behance as a buffet of the world's greatest
artists, designers, photojournalists, and professional photographers, all available for you to browse and pick
through. It is an online showcase of outstanding web design and creativeness. Behance is like a shopee or
Lazada that you can browse anything you want to buy, but behance is offering service like creative web
designs, photo editing and more, while shopee and Lazada offer us different products like beauty products,
appliances and more.
5. Take a screenshot of at least two (2) different event-driven program execution that you have noticed in
the web application/website. (3 points x 2 items)
6. Based on your answers on item number 5, rationalize how each screenshot encompasses event-driven
program execution. (Essay: 10 points x 2 items)
The first screen shot encompasses the event programing execution using mouse click. You can see on
the screen shot that when I click the Creative fields option on the screen there’s a new options or choices that
being showed. In parts of event driven programing, it shows the event classes mouse event, which represents
any related mouse action, such as clicking, pressing, and dragging. A lot of mouse event occur when using this
website since it’s a website you can browse to find different creatives web designs.
The event programming execution that is shown in the second screenshot is a keypress. If you look at
the screenshots, you can see that when I search for web designs in the search tab, a new menu or choices are
also displayed, just like when what happened before in the first screenshot. It is evident in some areas of
event- driven programming. Parts of event-driven programming display key events, which happen when a key
on the keyboard is pressed, typed, or released by the user.
There is also some event classes that being used in this website that I’ve said earlier such as, action
event which occurs when a graphical element is clicked, such as a button or an item in a list, adjustment event
which is generated when the scroll bar is used, and more.
