Cumulative Factor Is Calculated Using 90% Learning Curve Impact
a) Distance will be calculated on based on block kilometers and will demonstrate a learning curve impact. The fare will have a block
structure and will be constant for a particular range. The additional fare per block will be lower than the earlier block fare. The %
of decrease in fare per block is demonstrated below taking different learning curve factor in consideration and up to 6 range of
kilometers
Cumulative The range will be flexible and depend upon city to city needs. For
Multiplying simplicity, we are taking a range of 5km, which will be:
Distance Range At 90% At 80% At 70% Factor
1st Range 1.00 1.00 1.00 1.00 Less than 5km
2nd Range 0.90 0.80 0.70 1.90 5km to 10 km
3rd Range 0.85 0.70 0.57 2.75 10km to 15km
4th Range 0.81 0.64 0.49 3.56 15km to 20km
5th Range 0.78 0.60 0.44 4.34 20 km to 25 km
6th Range 0.76 0.56 0.40 5.10 Greater than 25km
Cumulative factor is calculated using 90% learning curve impact.
b) Time will divided into 3 parts i.e. Light, Normal and Heavy. The fare will be directly depended on the traffic condition and the
multiplying factor will be as below:
Light 0.85
Normal 1
Heavy 1.25
When the traffic condition is light, we will give a 15% benefit to customer, however when the traffic condition is Heavy we will
charge an excess of 25%.
b) Base Factor will the fare charged for the primary range unit with normal traffic. It will cover all the running cost and will also
include profit margin. Various factors that will influence the base fare are:
1. Fuel Cost
2. Car EMI
3. Maintenance Charged (incl. insurance)
4. Opportunity Cost
