24 When a farmer plows for planting, does he plow continually?

Does he keep on breaking up and working the soil? When he has leveled the surface,
25 does he not sow caraway and scatter cumin?
Does he not plant wheat in its place,[a]
barley in its plot,[b]
and spelt in its field?

God Works in our Life like a Farmer

1. God Works in Seasons (v. 24)
 The farmer works in a variety of ways. He does not always do the same thing all the
time.
 He does different kinds of tasks in order to have a produce.
 Plowing- cultivate, tilling, pagbubungkal ng lupa
 To remove weeds, rocks, to loosen the soil and make it in good condition for planting
 Masisira yung equipment, at kung nagtanim ka sa oras na ito, baka walang maging
produce
 Kung patuloy lang sa pagbubungkal yung farmer, walang tutubo.
 Kung nasa plowing process ka pa lang kung saan maiinit at masalimuot, remember this.
In our daily walk with God, it is not always plowing under the scorching heat of the sun. It
is not always the barren land that we will see.
 There is also a season for harvest, but first we need to plant.
 A seed must be sown
 As we grow deeper into the Lord, meron at meron Siyang itinatanim sa atin and what we
desire is for them to grow into our lives.
 They take time to grow.
 Hindi porket ngayon mo nabasa yung promise, ay ngayon mo na rin maeexperience.
 You will never appreciate the fulfillment of His promise unless it is what you need.
 Kung may hinihingi ka kay Lord na hindi mo pa natatanggap, maybe hindi yun yung
talagang kailangan mo, at may ibibigay si Lord na mas suitable sa sitwasyon mo.
 If you are asking for strength, He will give you more challenges to overcome and
become stronger.

2. Trusting God’s Process

 Malago na yung halaman. Dito na sila mas kailangan i-maintain at alagaan.
 Pag hindi naalagaan, hindi maganda yung harvest.
 Darating na rin yung mga peste, hindi pahuhuli sa pagtubo yung mga weeds.
 Pruning, Trimming – selective removal of unwanted parts of a plant
- Prevents insects or diseases to spread
- Improve tree’s structure
- Allow light penetration
- Direct new and healthy growth
 Hindi porket may tumubo na, okay na at pababayaan na.
 Christian life is not a perfect life
 Hindi laging tubo, tubo, meron ding putol, putol haha
 Growing process takes time.
3. Harvest will come
 The growth of a plant takes time as well as its bearing of fruit.
 Hindi basta-basta magbubunga ang isang halaman hangga’t hindi pa ito ready na
isupply yung mga kailangan nitong nutrients para sa pagtubo nung prutas.
 Kaya kung nireready ka pa rin ni Lord at wala ka pang nakikitang resulta, endure lang,
tiwala lang kay Lord dahil dadating din tayo diyan.
 Just because we don’t see it doesn’t mean it will not happen.
 Tanim ka lang ng tanim.. may panahon ng pag-ani.
 Knowing na nagbunga na yung bagay na matagal mong pinagpray, inalagaan,
pinagtiisan, napakafulfilling.
 Hindi lang yung resulta, kahit yung process na alam mong hindi ka nag-isa sa pagkamit
ng tagumpay na iyon ay napakarewarding sa pakiramdam.
 There is joy in harvest.
