Dear Mr. Darryl Jones and Enigma Travel’s Management Team,

Congratulations on your upcoming 8-year anniversary of being in business! Thank you for this

exciting opportunity to work with your company as you rebrand from Spur of the Moment Tours

to Enigma Travel Group.

From what we understand, the former Spur of the Moment Tours has been providing mystery tours

to travellers looking for unique adventures while retaining control over aspects of the trip that are

important to them. We understand that your sales have been steadily declining this past year and

you are seeking solutions to remedy this. A brand renewal is an excellent strategy for bringing new

life into the exciting travel product that Enigma Travel offers.

Upon being contacted by your Sales Manager, Mr. Michel Jackson, we immediately began a series

of consultations with him as well as several members of your sales and internal marketing

department. We would like to thank Mr. Jackson for his many insights and for arranging one-on-

Who are we? (FAQ)

Your Innovation Uncapped consulting team is comprised of three of our company’s most senior

members who have partnered with many regional businesses to help increase sales. Ms. Carma

Chan is our Creative Director who oversees all graphic and web development, Mr. Alex

McCorquodale is our Director of Sales and Marketing who applies a results-centered approach in

examining marketing opportunities, and Mr. Andy Chu is our Public Relations Manager who uses

his attention to detail in implementing all media strategies.

We are Bachelor of Tourism Management students at Capilano University with previous education

and professional backgrounds. Our goal is to provide quality marketing advice and strategies that

target the growing millennial market by applying the realities of our own experiences as

millennials. A brief portfolio of our past work and additional information about the members of

The significant decline in sales over the past three quarters is grounds for serious concern.

Why now?

Combined with celebrating the company’s 8-year anniversary, the increased public attention from

rebranding can be directed towards informing potential customers of products that are being

offered. The release of limited time promotional offers will encourage turning spectators into

participants as they buy products extensively during this time. This campaign can be expected to

bring in an ROI of 43% during the initial two months. The excitement generated from these events

can be expected to facilitate a steadily increasing growth in sales as new customers share their

Additionally, the development of Enigma’s Romantic Tours segment comes at an opportune time

A Night Around the World on Main

(Vancouver) – Get your boarding passes ready! (Hook) In two weeks’ time, the 500-block of Main
Street will transform into a jetsetter’s extravaganza. With exciting destinations around the globe,
get a taste of world at Enigma Travel’s Taste the World couples dining experience.

This year’s festivities will be held on Thursday, December 15th and guests will be able to get a
taste of local ethnic favourites along the Main Street corridor. (Event Details) Taste the World
2016 will feature popular establishments such as Phnom Penh Cambodian Cuisine, The
Foundation Eatery, Miura Waffle Bar, and Cabrito’s Spanish Tapas. (Partnerships)

2016 also marks the official launch of Enigma Travel Group. Enigma Travel, previously known as
Spur Of The Moment Tours, have been at the 545 Main Street location since 2008. Spur Of The
Moment specialized in unique “mystery” tours where grad students and groups filled out travel
questionnaires and the company’s Experience Coordinators set up one-of-a-kind travel packages
for the guest. Whether it is exploring the Swiss Alps or navigating through the scenic backdrops
of New Zealand, guests receive a packing list as their source and clue before departing
Vancouver. As Spur Of the Moment reached 8 years of operation, the company was able to
relaunch as Enigma Travel Group. This change opens the company up to new opportunities and
travel experiences as the company is looking into the application of their mystery tour towards
new travel experiences for couples and newlyweds. This brand refresh was made possible by the
student entrepreneurs of Innovation Uncapped.

Innovation Uncapped is a not-for-profit entity based in Capilano University that provides
students with the opportunity to develop an entrepreneurial mindset and provide consulting
services for small businesses in the Greater Vancouver region.
