Howdy, this is what is happening

in our class this!

We are learning about Phonics,

the study of relationship

between letters and the sounds

they represent, and sound-

symbol correspondences!

Here are some examples to work with at home!

Word Connections- This is a game were I Spy!- “ I spy the sound”, when playing

you connect sounds with syllables and this game you spy words that begin with

words. Ex: “p-e-n” spell pen, now how do certain sounds rather than a letter. Ex:

you spell hen? “I spy with my little eye, something

beginning with rrr.”

Now for the techie fun:

Songs are great ways to learn! Apps are a great way to teach at home!
