Comparative Analysis of Monotheistic Religions

The Quran (Recitation)


There are three monotheistic religion and these are - Judaism,Christianity,
and Islam. They also called Abrahamic Religion.

Judaism is the religion of Jews. Their God name Yahweh.


Israel was the place of origin of Judaism and it's founder is Abraham.
Abraham is the "Father of All Nation" because of his faith unto God. The
story of Abraham tackles about when God put him to the test. That test is by
sacrificing his son. But when Abraham was going to stab his son, an angel
appeared and stop him.
Torah is their sacred scripture, it is part of the Jewish Bible and also it
consist five books of Moses - Genesis, Leviticus, Numbers and Deuteronomy.
The practices and beliefs of Judaism are: They belived in one God or
monotheism.
Sabbath day, this is the most important day in Jewish because it is the last
day when God rest from creating heaven and earth and all the living things
in earth.
Yom Kippur (Day of Atonement), this is the most sacred day. They do
fasting and they prohinits from washing and bathing,engaging in sexual
relations, spending in the synogague while reciting prayers.
Pilgrimage Festivals Pesach, is an eight day festival. It is done for people or
Jews to remember the migration of the Jews from Egypt.
Shavout, a two-day festival to remember the revelation of Torah to Moses
at Mount Sinai.
Halakha, is a set of rules and practices that control or guide the Jews in
their everyday living. It comes from Torah.
Synogagues, is where the Jewish is worshipping
The issues in Judaism are anti-semetism, jewish diaspora, holocaust and
zionist movement.
Anti semetism is a discrimination against Jewish people.
Jewish Diaspora is a migration of Jewish people outside Israel.
Holocaust is the systematically murder some six million Jews by Nazi
Germany.
Zionist Movement is the return of Jews to the Land of Israel.
The Destiny of Judaism is pre-determination. They believed in God's will and
free will. They believe that God plans our future but also we have free will to
make our own decisions.
Their purpose is to become God-like.

Christianity is the religion of Christians. Their God named Jesus Christ.


Palestine was the place of origin of Christianity and it's founder is Jesus
Christ. Jesus Christ is the Son of God. Christians also believes in Holy Trinity
- The Father, The Son and The Holy Spirirt. They also believed that by his
crucifixion on the cross was for redeemed our sins.
Bible is the sacred scripture of Christian. It is divided into two sections: Old
Testament and New Testament.
The practices and beliefs of Christianity are: Same with Judaism they also
believe in one God or Monotheism.
Bible is their sacred scripture.
The Ten Commandment, Seven Sacraments, Eight Beatitudes, Apostles
Creed, Advent, Lent and the Pentacoast and the Feasts of Saint
The issues in Christianity are Ecumenism, Sexuality, Family, Divorce, Capital
Punishment and Euthanasia. Ecumenism is the effort of Catholic Church to
sponsor activities to promote unity among all Christians.
Their destiny is God's will and free will, same with Judaism.
The purpose of Christianity is to love and serve God.

Islam is the religion of Muslims. Their God name Allah. Mecca was the place
of origin of Isla. and it's founder/prophet is Muhammad. Angel Gabriel
appeared infront of him and relayed the word of God.
The Sacred scripture of Islam is Qu'ran. Muslims believed that it is the
revelation from God.
The practies and beliefs of Islam are: The Five Pillars of Islam - Shahadah,
Salah, Sawm, Zakah and Hajj.
Shahadah(Faith), is to believe in one God - Allah and Muhammad is the
prophet and the messenger of God
Salah(Prayer) is to pray five times a day
Sawm(Fasting) is to not eat or drink suring the day hour of Ramadan.
Zakah(Aimsgiving) is to give to help the people in need and also to support
the Muslim community.
Hajj(Pilgrimage) is to perform a pilgrimage in Makkah atleast once in a
lifetime.
Issues in Islam are: Islam and women, jihad, militancy and terrorism, and
migration.
Islam and women, The role of women is different from men. Men are
superior.
Jihad, a holy war.
Militancy and Terrorism, Islam prohibits terrorism and those who promote it
do not represent or include in Muslim standard.
Migration, some Muslims migrate to US and Europe and it results of Islam
becoming a American religion.
The destiny of Islam is God's will. They believed that what ever happens
even if it's good or bad, it is God's will. Purpose is to love and serve God,
same with Christianity
