Narrative report for y4it

The day September 17,2010 the 8th Philippine Youth Congress held at UP Diliman. The y4it that I was
really looking forward to. I was very excited because all the IT students all over the Philippines will come
and meet in one place. I was also excited not only because it was first time to come in UP but also the
speakers that will come and share there experience to us in the fields of gaming and animating. The day
that i was really looking forward to. The speakers are very awesome and have wide range of experience,
there I learned so many thing about drawing. Because I like to draw, and as a kid growing up playing
computer games has been part of my hobbies growing up. That's why I really focused on topics that they
were discussing.

The program started with a prayer and singing our national anthem.

The first to speaker is CICT Chairman Atty. Ivan Uy. who opened the speech.

The next speaker is Mr. Allan Simonsen Technical Director and Co-Founder of BOOZMAP
Entertainment.- He discussed about the "Life of a Developer" and he told us how to get fired? I laughed
so hard on that, but what he really meant is how to get promoted and what to do when you are working
in the field of gaming.
Next is Mr.Ali Kojori - from france, he discussed about "The Game of Arts and Animation" like the 2d,3d
animation he also introduced the schools in France were they teach students how to create,develop
games. They are also offering courses for gaming and the schools that they have now have many
branches in the world now.

Mr. James Palabay, Art Chef, Digital Art Chiefs discussed about comics and digital arts. He also showed
us some example of what he drew and what can we do with our talents.(If we have).

And here is the woman that I was really amazed unfortunately I don't know her name. She discussed
about the "Story Telling and Games" I really learned from her. About the Five Rangers, that gave me an
idea how to create my own character and what every character should possess, the
RED,BLUE,PINK,YELLOW,GREEN. And the way she caught the attention of the listeners and also the way
she delivered her speech. I'm really inspired by her now i have the ideas how to create my own story
too, it must be unique and cool.
And that's all, I hope the next y4it they will also introduce some new software's on how to make your
animations more complex and what are the programs that they are using so we could also practice on
that. =))
