From this website, were able to obtain information on the general timeline of the Third Crusade
and flow of the quest of the three powerful kings.

This website informed us on the life of Richard the Lionhearted and his influence to become a
powerful man. It also informed us on his attempt to conquer Jerusalem and the Holy Land, even
though he had failed ultimately.

We learned from this website the backgrounds on the main participants in the Third Crusade.

From this website we found other information about the Third Crusade. It also gave us a simpler
idea of the quest to recapture Jerusalem and the results of it.

This book gave us a more detailed background on Richard and Saladin. It also supplies us with
more information on the failed diplomacy that resulted in Saladin’s retaking Jerusalem.

From this book we read more Information on the Muslims’ victory from Saladin’s point of view.
It also gave us slightly more information on Saladin.
Taken from Beha ad-Din's Life of Saladin. (Palestine Pilgrims Text Society, 1897), 272-274.
We were able to hold information on Richard the Lionhearted’s massacre of his Muslim
prisoners after Saladin didn’t honor the terms of their agreement. It also informed us about the
tension that existed between both leaders.

From this website we were given an idea of the many effects the crusades had on Europe and
