Minutes of the Area Meeting # 2

Attendance:

The meeting was attended by the CL coordinator, Mrs. Cecilia Alcantara and the
following teachers:

Ms. Rosaline Escalona
Mr. Jose Marie de Guzman
Mr. Ronielito Cruda
Ms. Edilyn Bucar is with the Mapeh area

I. Preliminaries:

The meeting started with an opening prayer led by Mrs. Katherine Joy Mananguit.
It was followed by a reading of Ignacian Article # 26 Entitled Discernment Versus Social
Conformity Reference a Lamp to our Part by S. Ma. Anicia Bation Co. RVM. (1998). The
group ponders the following question.

1. What do you think is your purpose in life (purpose of your existence)?

2. What factors in our society hinders you from becoming your true self? Explain your
answer.

II. Reading/Corrections/ Approval of the Previous Minutes

The minutes of the previous meeting was read by Ms. Rosaline Escalona. Some corrections
were made and it was moved to be approved as corrected by Ms. Filipina Mag-isa and
seconded by Mr. Jose Marie de Guzman.

III. Professional Sharing

Mrs. Katherine Joy Mananguit shared to the group the Questioning Techniques: Research-
Based Strategies for Teachers followed with a short video clip about Questioning and
Discussions Techniques to Support the Learner Centred Classroom.

IV. Agenda of the Meeting

1. Mrs. Alcatara congratulates the area for submitting the SLP on time. and also of for
being prompt in going to school
2. Pop in visit to all the CL teachers is already done
3. Formal visit for the new teachers is on August
4. Submission of SLP is every Monday.
5. MIDES Integration must be part of the SLP
 6. Academic and Cultural Week
- Cl Quiz bee
- The contestant for bulprisa is not allowed to join for the CL quiz bee
- Give the list of name of the winners to the coordinator with the correct spelling of
names for the certificate.
- Submit the PowerPoint of the quiz bee on (July 21)
7. Visit of Lady of Fatima
- Grade 7,8,9,10 will be attending the mass on July 18 at 2:00pm

III. Adjournment

The meeting was ended at exactly 3:45 PM in the afternoon with a closing prayer led by
Mrs. Katherine Joy Mananguit
