Textbook Rental Agreement

Am entering into this textbook Rental Agreement with the Montana State University Billings’ campus
store, Jackets & Company. I agree to the following terms and conditions. I certify that I have read and
understand the terms and conditions of this Textbook Rental Agreement listed below:

Correspondence regarding rentals will occur primarily via email.

Rental Return Date- on or before the last day of finals week

Terms and Conditions:

1. I am currently at least 18 years of age and a currently enrolled MSUB student.

2. I am entering this Textbook Rental Agreement with Montana State University Billings of my own
free will.
3. A securing credit card is required for all rental transactions regardless of tender. A Ucard or
Debit card cannot be used.
4. I will return the rented materials (see attached receipt) to the Jackets & Company on or before
the Rental Return Date (see receipt for Rental Return Date). Jackets & Company is not
responsible for reminding me of the rental return date and is not responsible for returns
shipped to the store via any carrier.
5. I understand that all materials rented to me are the property of the Jackets & Company.
6. I am responsible for the condition of the materials rented and bear the full responsibility for the
return of the rented materials in salable condition and for payment of fees and replacement
costs if rented materials are lost stolen or returned in unsalable condition. Unsalable conditions
include damage incurred to the rented material as determined by the Jackets & Company staff.
Limited highlighting and writing in rented texts is permitted.
7. If I fail to return the rented materials by the rental return date, the securing credit card will be
charged a $15.00 processing fee and the replacement cost of the rented materials. If we are
unable to charge the securing credit card, you may not be able to register for classes or get
transcripts until the charge is paid.
If you drop a course, the rented materials must be returned immediately. Jackets & Company standard
refund policies apply to rented materials.
