The Story of the Easter Bunny

Easter is a popular holiday with children. One of the things they like about Easter is the
Easter Bunny. Just like Santa bringing presents at Christmas, young children believe that the
Easter Bunny brings them chocolate eggs when they are good!

The story of the Easter Bunny bringing eggs comes from Germany. In the story, the
Easter Bunny brings coloured eggs to children’s homes. The children make „nests” for the Easter
Bunny with their caps and bonnets. Sometimes the Easter Bunny hides the eggs , so the children
have to look for them on Easter morning. This is where the tradition of Easter Eggs Hunt comes
from.
