The Age-Old Question: Cocktail Gowns or Long Gowns?

Every girl obviously wants to look her best at a Masquerade Ball. This masquerade ball is
not just some high school dance; it is a milestone in the life of a student and surely, it will be
worthy to remember. Probably, the most important part of any masquerade party is the
gown choice, as they are essentially the main focus of the event.

However, finding the perfect gown to wear is one of the most fun parts but it can also be
the most stressful. There are endless options to choose from but there should be one that
will most standout from the others and yet the perfect one to wear that night. This brings
us to the age-old question: what are you going to wear, is it a cocktail gown or the long type
of gown?

Last March 16, the Senior High School Masquerade Ball, one of the awaited event that most
students have been wishing and waiting for since the start of the school year, has finally
come true. That night, although some of the students had been seen wearing a cocktail type
of gown, it was evident that most students chose to wear the long type of gown in different
styles, either an A-line gown, mermaid gown, two-piece gown and of course, a ball gown.
Maybe, it is because the attributes that can make them sexy gowns like with the high slit,
criss-cross front and open back.

Honestly, I’ve tried wearing a long type of gown, a ball gown to be exact and for me, it made
me uncomfortable. It gave me worries that someone might stepped on it and worse, it may
cause me to be slipped. So on the other hand; I believe that years from now, cocktail gowns
will eventually rock to an event like this. Maybe, people will realize that it is more
convenient to wear a cocktail type of gown. Cocktail gowns are also light and fun while
simultaneously giving off a classy look and will give no worry about it dragging on the floor
or stepping on it. Not to mention that it is usually less expensive and it will show off
flawless and slim legs you have as an asset. Additionally, it can also make one’s shoes pop
and give them the attention they rightfully deserve.
