Reynesse: But first, let’s check in on the weather. Xhaia, how’s the weather
looking?

Xhaia: Tropical Storm Ana might stay a little longer inside the Philippine area of
responsibility (PAR) since it is still stationary.

The weather disturbance was seen 700 kilometers east of New town, Dumaguete
at 3 p.m., while packing maximum sustained winds of 75 kilometers per hour
(kph) and 90 kilometers per hour gusts.

Most parts of the country will experience fair weather as long Perla is stationary.

Localized thunderstorms will be experienced at night in southern Luzon, Metro


Manila, and parts of the Visayas and Mindanao.

Ana is expected to leave Philippine area of responsibility on Friday, Oct. 25.

A bungling Filipino car thief was nabbed after accidentally locking himself in the
vehicle he was trying to steal, police said Monday.

Police were called to a house in St. Louis Village after two thieves were heard
trying to steal a car.
“The man, while breaking into the car, had locked himself in the car and couldn’t
get out,” Dumaguete City police said, adding a second thief was found hiding in
nearby bushes.
