Subject: Prayer for enhancement of compensation as per actual classification from Sohori to Cold
storage in Mouza Uttar Sonapur, JL No. 26, Plot No: 2628 & 2662, Area 0.40 acres widening &
strengthening the N.H.A.I. relating to L.A.P. No. 69/09-10 L.A. case No. 03/13-14.

Sir,

This is to bring to your kind notice that an area measuring 0.40 acres of land comprising plot No. 2628,
2662 appertaining to khatian No. 1915 of Mouza Uttar Sonapur, J.L. No. 26 has been acquired relating
to L.A.P. / L.A./case No. as mentioned above.

In this regard I’ve received an amount of Rs. 1548626.00 (Fifteen lacs forty thousands six
hundred and twenty six) only vide NEFT/U000000111629794 through Jalpaiguri Treasury on
15/09/2016 on the basis of the land classified as “Sohori” instead of “Cold Storage”.

It may be mentioned in this connection that the entire acquisitioned land has already been
converted into “Cold storage” on 29/11/2004 as per kind order of the District Land & Land Reforms
Officer, Jalpaiguri communicated vide Memo No. 398(3), dated 29/11/2004

In view of the above I would therefore pray before your honour kindly to look into the matter
& arrange, so that I may allow the enhanced compensation as per actual classification of the acquired
land and obliged there by.

I also annexed here with the following documents for favour of your kind perusal & ready
reference.

1. Copy of registered deed, 2. Mutation certificate, 3. Conversion certificate, 4. Rent

received of the converted land, 5. Copy of khatian, 6. Copy of payment notice, 7. Copy of
notice u/s 3G sub. Sec. (4).
