BRIEF BIO-DATA

Prof. S.P. Singh is an outstanding teacher, brilliant academician and

excellent administrator. Prof Singh did his Post Graduation from University of
Lucknow. Subsequently he was awarded Ph.D. degree on the Rural Development.
He has 40 years of experience in higher education. Later he became a Professor
and held the post of Principal at autonomous National PG College, Lucknow for
about 26 years. Dr. Singh has been a member, coordinator and expert of various
committees at University, State and National level. He has executed 2 research
projects and has supervised 10 research students for Ph.D. He has published 33
research publications in International and National Journals and has 8 Books to his
credit. These books are related to the relevant topics such as agricultural
economics, economic thought and growth. Rural development administration in
higher education and principles of Economics are the main areas of his
specialization. He has been awarded with six Governmental and Non-
governmental awards and fellowships.

He is Fellow of six academic institutions and societies. He has been a

mentor/resource person/key note speaker in many seminars/workshops. He has
visited Paris, Brussels, Luxembourg for International academic exposures.

He has wide and comprehensive experience in Academics and

Administrative activities and has established milestone achievements for
professional courses, infrastructure, and state of the art in academic institution.
