Subject: Request to Upgrade Laboratory Equipment
Sir,
With due respect, I am writing this application to make a request regarding the labs of our
department. Most of the equipment are out of order and many equipment have parts which are
not working well e.g. flow measuring devices and due to that reason we cannot find the exact
results which leads to lack of practical knowledge. There are very few measuring instruments (e.g.
conductivity meter). There is a lack of glassware as well. So we have to work in a group which at
least consists of 10 members. In this way, most of the students even cannot perform the
experiment and they feel relax just by watching the experiment performed by other members of
their group. You may ask the lab assistants for further confirmation. Now a days, universities are
focusing more on project-based learning rather than books. I shall be really thankful to you if you
process the request on an urgent basis. Thank you so much.
