Techspecs UniWest 330 West Clark » Pasco, Washington 99301 * Phone (509) 544-0720 Fax (509) 544-0868 Cone Head Probe The Cone Head special application prcbe was designed to measure coating thickness on the complex curvatures found on turbine blades. Coating thickness is measured before installation and after the blades have been in service to track coating wear on the blades. An added benefit is that the cone head probe can also be used for testing cracks on curvatures. A self leveling feature allows an eddy current coil to stay normal to the surface through a wide range of convex and concave surfaces. Substantial time and cost saving benefits are derived from testing turbine blade coating thickness and curvatures for cracks without removing the blades. Along with the Cone Head Probe you'll also Absolute _ Differential receive a hard shell travel case. Coil selection 1MHz = 1 MHz includes standard absolute and differential in 2 MHz 2 MHz frequencies ranging from 1 MHz to 6 MHz: 3MHz = 3 MHz 4 MHz 4 MHz To order please ask for part #US-690 and specify 5MHz = 5MHz coil selection and frequency. 6MHz = 6 MHz (Updated 1723/01 )
