Communications:

The goal is to build a place where you can see everything we are working on while
showing how we take our brand out to the world. Ranging from events, to internal
communications, PR and Marketing activities, all our initiatives are focused on
conveying our spirit of innovation, entrepreneurship, creativity and fun.

in charge of Globant's community and marketing initiatives. This department


develops all the necessary tools to reach internal and external audiences (Globers,
clients, media and community), helping to provide information and expand our
ideas and culture.

The financial department has 3 subdepartments:


1. Stay Relevant Team
2. Internal Comms
3. Employer Branding
4. Social Media and PR
5. Design

Financial:
The principal funtions of Financial department are: Suporting Globant’s strategic
growth plan, ensuring investments in profitable business, protecting company
assets, guaranteeing timely and accurate information, ensuring internal controls,
enabiling resources for company execution and meeting internal and external
customer expectatios.

Goals:
 Analyze and control the valuation and classification of all the operations of
the different areas for the 20 companies of the Globant group.
 Verification of integrity and reasonableness in accounting information
(analysis and reconciliation of Balance Sheet accounts).
 Participation in the submission of Individual Financial Statements under
local GAAPs.
 Preparation of the Consolidated Financial Statements under IFRS.
 Responsible for the fixed assets register of the company (CAPEX Report).
 Monthly, quarterly and annual closing (Consolidated P & L and FRP reports
for DTT).
 Support financial audits and SOX compliance testing.
 M & A support. Incorporation of new subsidiaries in SAP.
 Support in the calculation and registration of Transfer Pricing.
The financial department has 3 subdepartments:

1. Accounts Payable:
Responsible for all Globant vendor payments.

2. Expenses
In charge of process al expenses for Globers. Amex and cash expenses
must be reported through Glow

3. Billing and collections:


Get the information the PMs (Project Managers) upload into Glow to bill and
send documents to our customers. Then we ask them for payments
respecting the payment term.

Legal
The Legal Department endeavor to always be at the forefront of the best practices
and innovative solutions designed to allow our lawyers to focus their daily work in
tasks that bring value to the Company every time, automating processes and
activities that would otherwise take more time and effort to complete.

The legal department has 2 subdepartments:

1. Legal Corportate
The Legal Corporate team is charged with the corporate maintenance of the
Globant´s group of companies, including local regulatory compliance, book-
keeping of all subsidiaries, designing and implementing corporate
governance practices as well as reporting to the stock exchanges where
Globant is listed.
We support the growth of the group from a legal perspective, opening and
incorporating new business in new jurisdictions and we are also constantly
implementing projects to make the legal structure of the group more efficient,
including, for example, conducting mergers and transfers of assets among
subsidiaries.

2. Bussines and contracts:


The Legal Business & Contracts team assists the Company providing legal
support through its daily operations and commercial activities.

We work closely with business and staff areas in all matters requiring legal
advice, to make sure legal risks are always known and understood by internal
stakeholders prior to adopting relevant decisions.

Among other tasks, we review and negotiate contracts and support the
business teams in designing the most efficient contractual strategies vis-à-vis
customers and vendors.
We also support the business teams in protecting our IP, including patents
and trademarks, and we assist in the event of commercial claims which may
be initiated by or on behalf of Globant.

People
People is the department that manages well-being, career path, benefits and
activities for our globers.

The People department has 4 subdepartments:

1. People Care
a. Administration: Guide all globers through the different
administrative processes, so that they are quick and easy to execute,
providing added value and follow up the task
b. People Legal: We ensure you with the best labor relationship and
advise. This meand that every glober will develop their labor
relashionships with and withing Globant in compliance with the law
c. Mobility: We take the talent wherever the talent is needed. Who is
the talent? You are. We provide the migratory assistance needed for
you to travel or to relacote to other countries to reach our clients
beyond borders, wherever ther may be.

2. People Career & experience


a. Career: We give you the opportunity to enjoy your own career,
providing you with the tools and the best learning experiences to
bring your career to the next level. Also we design the organizational
structure.
b. Experience: We take care of globers experience by bringing
efficiency to the People team, assisting all globers with any inquiries
regarding People, collaborating in communication processes and
developing team building activities.

3. People Champions: We accompany our globers during the grat and


exciting experience that involves being part of Globant, providing guidance
with any concern about processes and policies to provide the best quality
life and to promote Globant’s culture and values

4. People Metrics and processes


a. Analytics: We adapt our internal processes to meet the new needs
of our Globers and internal areas, and accompany the develop of the
business. We prioritize the analysis to achive integrity, quality and
consistency of information and support decision makers. We also
provide added value to the company’s acquisition strategy, working
on the planning, coordination and implementation of the merger plan,
preserving the value acquired and seeking synergies.
b. Rewards: We ensure the wellbeing of our members through a healty
and equitable working environment, making sure Globers feel valued
and recognized for all their hard work and efforts.

Recruiting
This department is responsible for ensuring Globant has the right people, in the
right place, at the right time. As people are our greatest asset, recruiting
intellectual, highly capable ‘smart creatives’ who are passionate about what we do
is key to our success.

Goals:
 Ability to work with senior management team to understand business plans and
subsequently establish / develop recruitment targets and strategies
 Manage full recruitment life-cycle with highly developed skills in candidate
attraction and management.
 Build a network of potential permanent and freelance employees who can be
recruited when the business needs require them
 Understand the culture and vision of the organisation in order to source
candidates who best fit Globant and share its goals and aspirations
 Take initiative with little direction, strong interpersonal skills and exceptional
organisational and administrative abilities
 Undertake hiring activities using an effective combination of direct sourcing,
online posting, referrals, networking and other relevant methods as appropriate
 Keep senior management team informed as to progress against plans,
becoming the central focus for all resourcing matters
 Attract and develop candidate interest in the company and guide them through
the full life-cycle, ensuring efficiency in scheduling interviews, utilisation of
practitioners’ time and timely feedback
 Strong knowledge and interest in digital / technology innovations, keen to follow

Business Operations (GBX)


Globant Business Experience (GBX) area primary goal is to deliver business
services that support, serve and empower the applications and systems that are
critical to Globant's success. For that, we work in partnership with all the staff and
production areas in order to automate manual functions and support new business
process or business process redesign.
We provide a full range of services, from system analysis/design, development and
implementation to maintenance and application procurement assistance.

While we work on different projects with different objectives and technologies, we


are organized into five main areas in order to give a more efficient service:
 Product & Process: Defines the needs & objectives of upcoming initiatives and
process changes, including communications dynamics and change management.
 Custom Agile Delivery: Agile Development construction Pods fully aligned with
the Studios and the Service Delivery Framework.
 ERP Delivery: Construction Pods composed of Globers and service providers for
ERP and Platform configuration development and integration
 Business Metrics: Focuses on cross-process and business metrics.
 Application Support: Focuses on running operations, and end-user experience
and education.

Sales
Building strong teams to grow partnerships with clients and constantly looking at
ways to improve team dynamic and showcasing Globant’s value proposition. We
turn ideas into reality, and know and show how to replicate success.
