Nutritional information
This recipe is a chocolatey ball packed with nutrient dense ingredients often
referred to as superfoods. Rather than think of a food as a “superfood”
consider foods which are superior because of their nutritional value, or health
benefits that may be attributed to a nutrient it contains.

Many of the ingredients; Prunes, raw cacao and goji berries are rich sources of
Recipe by antioxidants. Prunes and goji berries contain the antioxidant flavonoids called
Sandra Villella anthocyanins, which are found in most red and blue berries. Don’t be fooled by
Jean Hailes most of the other elaborate claims made about goji berries, which have been
Naturopath shown to be unsubstantiated. I have included them in this recipe because they
add a bit of tartness to the recipe, but any dried berry could be included.
