Knowing what problems can be assessed through CAR

Not all learning problems can be assessed and solved through CAR. The teacher must know the five
criteria that must be met so that a problem can be raised for a CAR problem. The five criteria referred
to are as follows:
1. Problems come from class,
2. Not too broad and too narrow
3. Based on authentic data
4. Found the cause
5. It is possible to be resolved through classroom action.
6. Important (urgent) to be resolved immediately.

2. Find Problems

In learning the teacher is often faced with various problems that need a solution. One way to find a
problem is to ask yourself about the learning process carried out andthe quality of the teaching and
learning process. Problems in the classroom that need to be observed by the teacher can relate to
problems of classroom management, teaching and learning, the use of learning resources, and personal
problems and teacher professionalism.

3. 3. Identification of Problems
Identification of problems is the first stage in a series of stages of research. Problems that arise in
learning need to be identified and also need to be determined the worth and the importance

4. Problem Analysis
After identifying the problems that will be the topic of CAR, then analyzed to determine the level of
importance and impact on learning. Analysis is a basic consideration for planning time in each cycle,
identifying indicators of change, and measuring changes and improvements that occur as a result of
action taken.

5. Formulate the problem

The PTK problem that has been chosen needs to be formulated in a comprehensive, clear, specific and
operational way so that it allows the researcher to choose the right course of action. Formulation of the
problem can be done in sentence statements, questions, or combine the two.

6. Determine the title

Based on the formulation of the problem, the title of PTK can be written. The title of CAR must be
formulated briefly, concisely, specifically and it is not possible to provide diverse interpretations, and
reflect the main problems to be solved.
