*** This bulletin contains important information regarding enhancements to the current
BIQS training material (GM 1927 36) *** and BIQS Assessment (BIQS 1927 30) ***
• GM 1927 36 BIQS training material content has been changed & enhanced to better align with the needs of
supporting our supply base on implementing a robust manufacturing system with “built-in quality”.
• The new GM 1927 36 is now a group of training documents, named and numbered per following:
o BIQS elements have been re-ordered/re-numbered to align with the “BIQS House” proactive approach
explained & illustrated below. (refer to GM 1927 36 Introduction and Foundational elements)
• BIQS House Explained:
o In a manufacturing environment the BIQS implementation journey that should be established should
follow a pattern of proactive or reactive work that leads to the same result. The BIQS house proactive
representation is a simplified version of such a journey that leverages multiple quality and manufacturing
tools that leads to the elimination of reactive work as proactive work grows to eliminate the need for it
over time (read elements from bottom top).

▪ The new numbering system groups BIQS elements in accordance with the BIQS House.
▪ How is the GM 1927 36 now organized and numbered: A package of 5 independent training
modules:
1) GM 1927 36 Introduction and Foundational elements
2) GM 1927 36 Group A elements BIQS
3) GM 1927 36 Group B elements BIQS
4) GM 1927 36 Group C elements BIQS
5) GM 1927 36 Group D elements BIQS
 NOTE: Process Change Control & Change Control PTR have been combined into (1) training document.
(GM 1927 36 Group A)
▪ IMPORTANT: These elements will remain separate on BIQS Assessment (GM 1927 30).
NOTE: Visual Controls &Visual Standards Communicated/Understood have been combined into (1)
training document. (GM 1927 36 Group A)
▪ IMPORTANT: These elements will remain separate on BIQS Assessment (GM 1927 30).

• GM 1927 30 BIQS Assessment has also been changed to align with the changes made to the GM 1927 36
training material. (Please refer to GM 1927 30 BIQS Assessment 2019)
o BIQS elements have been re-ordered/re-numbered to align with the changes made to the above-
mentioned training material.
