Competitor Analysis:

Porter’s Five Forces

Supplier Threat of
Power Substitution
• Low • High

Threat of Buyer
New Entry Power
• High Competitive • High
Rivalry

High

Competitive Rivalry: There are already many businesses that sell nachos before Nachoose Me, therefore
we already have a lot of competition even in the early days for our business. Even businesses that sell
food other than nachos are seen as competition.

Threat of New Entry: New entrants can easily disrupt our business in the competition because Nachoose
Me is still a new business, the new entrant’s products might be on par or even better than ours.

Supplier Power: We can buy our needed ingredients from a lot of different suppliers, that’s why the
supplier power is low. If one supplier is out of stock, we can approach other suppliers.

Threat of Substitution: There is a high threat of substitution because there are other businesses selling
food. The customers can easily be taken by other businesses if they have similar, cheaper, or better
products than what we produce.

Buyer Power: There is also a high buyer power because the buyers can influence our prices and business
terms. If the buyers think our prices are too expensive, we can lower our prices to meet the standards of
the buyers for benefit of both them and the business.
