Regarding project position under your kind supervision

Greetings of the day!

I am XXXX. I have recently completed M.Tech. (Electronics Design and Technology) from
XXXXX (June 2019). I am writing this mail to apply for the project position in your group.

I have completed my Master’s final year dissertation project at SAMEER (Society for Applied
Microwave Electronics Engineering and Research) Kolkata Centre (under Ministry of
Electronics and Information Technology, Govt. of India). My dissertation project was focused
on the millimetre wave transceivers for weather applications, where I have completed system
level simulation of FMCW Cloud radar and Dual-band radiometer in SystemVue environment.
I have also gained hands-on project experience in RF front end for Dual-band radiometer.
Moreover, I am planning to submit my research work carried out at SAMEER Kolkata in a
reputed international journal and/or conference.

I am very much interested in deeply understanding of Wireless Applications & Networking,

and therefore I am applying for the project position at IIT Kharagpur. I have gone through your
research profile available at IIT Kharagpur website, which completely aligns with my research
interests. I believe that joining your research group will enable to deepen my knowledge along
with my research expertise to accomplish my research goals.
