In this regard, this article provided a historical perspective of the emergence of the Ethiopianism since the emergence of the “Ethiopia” in the Biblical verse (Psalms, 68:31), to its adoption by the various African movements and individuals as a refusal of the European/white supremacist ideology and attitudes towards black people and their culture. This paper concludes that the Ethiopianism concept and ideology has encompasses all the African national movements in the recent history, such as the Independent Churches, the Anti-Colonial movements, the Pan African, the Rastafarian movements, etc m AYA saonnstiays penton ga
