Bugso movie really reflects what is happening now in our country; the
increasing of numbers of people having HIV and AIDS. It shows how HIV and AIDS
affect and destroy in one’s lives. In this sickness it shows how infected persons really
need emotional support. This is a unique movie because it shows the processes how
the doctor works determining how the virus is detected.

The film involves three (3) different stories of HIV and AIDS tragedies.

The first story is about Vanessa, a migrant nurse working in Dubai to save up
medical expenses for her infant child in the care of her husband Ken who was left in
the Philippines. During medical procedure where other medical staff is reviving a
dying AIDS patient, she accidentally injected an AIDS infected syringe into her arm
that causes her to get the infected virus. Vanessa was isolated because of the virus
and only her fellow nurse to support her. She was eventually deported back home
only to find out that her infant child is already dead and her husband is already
having an affair. Vanessa choose to live alone in a house owned by her fellow nurse
but eventually gossiping neighborhood kicked her out because of the virus. During in
her emotional rage she run into the street causing her to almost hit by a motor.
Vanessa went in isolation and eventually dies of hunger and the sickness.
